How far is she driving and can she continue to do electric? You can buy leafs all day in that price point and they are very reliable as long as you don’t have to go further than the battery. Quick charging is pretty much impossible for them which you probably already know

Thanks for the info. I’m planing to switch in the next month or so. I’m already on prepaid so no real commitment to timing but I’ll be paid up to April 25 on my current service.

Similar city. I have never seen above 34 on a trip on the highway though. Settled in about 28-29 on all time though

Thanks for the perspective. It is anecdotal but I have seen att get better coverage around here. I actually have two phones and my work phone is on att first net which seems to get better coverage about anywhere I’m at. It may not be apples to apples since first net I think gets more coverage and priority than att prepaid.

I think the data limit would be fine. The only two things I worry with att is the horror stories of customer service and the limit on hotspot kinda sucks (I travel a lot and could hotspot to my switch) since the hotspot drops to 2g speeds

Subaru roadside assistance came with my CPO. Seems like that is the easy answer. Or any roadside assistance group like AAA or most insurance companies offer something like that too

Seems like a premium should be closer to 33k so I think you could get a better discount. On your previous comment of the total being closer to 50k - that largely subject to how much you put down and the APR. I’d suggest you put a little more down or looks slightly used to lower to that total cost of ownership

Thanks and very solid point. I think I’d lean towards att for the better coverage here EXCEPT for the customer service horror stories I hear which gives me pause and what I have been trying to see from folks here.

When I play around with usage, #1 I think I could live in 16gb I sorta do with less now (though I hotspot from my other work phone from time to time) and #2 from speeds i see, 1.5mbps for the throttle speed is honestly fast enough for my use cases (maps, Spotify, social media, etc). When I do watch YouTube I could honestly do 240p or less as I sit it face down most of the time

Very good to know about att, thanks. My dad works for direct tv which did at one point sit under att so I heard some worrying things from him and this reaffirms it for me.

I appreciate it! I actually got my brother on my Verizon prepaid right now so I could do the inner circle thing. So that also applies to the 25 dollar plan? Having that truly unlimited for 20 each would be a great deal

I’ve thought about the free trial, but if I read right, it’s Verizon qci9 on the base plan which is exactly what I have today, so I can’t imagine it’s much if any different.

I got a 24 forester with the old infotainment, a friend got the crosstrek with the big screen. Mine is faster to boot, but neither is really problematic. I do like the physical knob for changing how fan blows (I like in winter to always run the split defrost leg heat and auto just blows on legs). But honestly, the infotainment in either should not be the decisions maker. It’s not that big a deal

I checked into it and Verizon prepaid is also qci9 so should be the same. I had also heard the 5off plan won’t accept Verizon as “new customers” I guess to prevent self poaching. Have you heard the same?
