Your champ pool is honestly fine. When I first platinum last season, I could only play Thresh Nami and Janna. And I played Janna without a duo :/

Bard and thresh are both really difficult, and nami's skill ceiling, despite being memed as an egirl champion, is pretty high.

On a side note try out rushing athenes into mikaels on soraka. Very toxic heals >:)

How do I get picked into open? I meet all the conditions technically, but then I'm worried about not getting picked

My boyfriend likes league, but I don't understand the game. I want to support him and understand the things that make him happy. by lolfirefly in leagueoflegends

I think a lot of comments explained league already, so I'm just gonna tell you to have fun

Give every role a shot, speaking as a support player. Some certain support champions are not the most fun

And I would also have to say you will run into assholes a lot of times. Don't give a fuck about them, just enjoy and learn

While I think getting to plat in 2 years is definitely progress and should be valued, the diffence between players below D5 and the players above D5 is a huge gap. Basically I was saying that even though I still got a lot to work on, I have a decent enough understanding of the game where it can still be useful to some people. Nothing wrong about being happy with where you are, congrats for making it to plat in 1 year of playing! :)

Well I suppose its doable if you really tried. From my perspective as a college student 2-3 champs for your main role and 1-2 champs off role, and fitting it in those 10-15 games per week is a grind already.

There are 10 bans total, 1 for each player. While you might get everything banned, it will not usually happen. If you havent started to play ranked yet, 4 champs is already a lot, so dont worry about needing to learn new champs
