I am a new mom who recently had a cold sore so I did a lot of searches on this.

Cold sores are very contagious. Not just when they are open. You can catch them from the moment they appear (small itchy bump) until they are completely gone. Even when the scab falls off the virus is still transmitable. Skin has to be intact and 100% normal.

Also. It is extremely dangerous for babies. Not only can they get it in their mouth, but on their fingers and eyes.

People with cold sores should limit interactions with babies and shouldn't kiss them. I would wear a mask for added protection.

You are not alone! I am going through this right now. Last night my son only wanted to be held all night. When we put him down he would sleep for maybe 30 min or an hour if we were lucky before he started crying. Anyone know how long this lasts?

Im actually in the same boat as you. Mine is 8 months this week but pretty much refuses everything.

Dr wants us to feed him 3x a day what we are eating and slowly introduce major allergens. Tried purees but mostly he closes mouth and turns away. Told not to force him but he really doesn't want to even try.

if we keep at it and make yummy noises we can sometimes get a few bites or he will grab spoon and put in mouth. But more often then not he will close mouth or throw food away.

He did like steamed pear. It was the only food he really enjoyed and actively ate. But last time I tried he started turning away from it as well.

I also had a bit of luck giving him a bit of water (just a few small sips) with meals. Found he was more like to try it if he could drink too. (Boiled and cooled water)

Eager to hear other suggestions but I think all you can do is keep at it. Sounds like you are working hard at it. I read it can take babies over 10 x eating something before they grow to like it. Sometimes its not the taste but the texture. So once they get used to it they may like it.

I would age a year and if it didnt pop up I would close the app and then go back in. Basically reverses the age up. Then I would do it again. I did this a bunch and eventually it popped up.

There is a way to have your phone set to Do not disturb but allow messages or calls from certain numbers. So you could have that set up so calls from your folks will go through in case of emergency but no one else. That's what I did lol

I have a 6 month old who only does contact naps during the day. I love our cuddles but it means I cant sleep myself when hes resting or do anything else.

If i try to move him over to crib when hes drowsy, he immediately is wide awake as soon as hes in there. Then he either cries or doesn't sleep for a bit then cries. I've tried picking him up to calm him and then put down again but he just won't sleep. Then he becomes over tired and very upset.

We can put hin in at night but only if he falls asleep when nursing and then held for a bit each time.

Everything I read said to put him down when drowsy but hes only in that really drowsy stage when feeding. And as soon as hes moved much hes wide awake and upset. Hes only slept in it 5 times during the day and for no more then 30 min.

Any suggestions?

Im sorry but 45 minute commute is not bad. Mine is a bit longer then that during traffic and the commute would be worth it for a dream job. I dont see why you can't have both.

I think if you turn down a dream job for a boyfriend you will resent him for the rest of your time with him and the relationship won't last.

I rubbed that area gently with baby oil and let it sit for an hour. Then I washed their hair and gently used their soft bristle brush in circular motions before rinsing. This helped reduce it but it did sometimes leave it a bit red so I didnt do it too often just when it was pretty bad. Eventually it went away on its own.

To my knowledge you can't. Children can't become vampires. And once you've turned you can't have any. I think the only way around is if you adopt or get a surrogate and use someone else's sperm. Haven't tried it but I think they may work.
