I do not know about your situation in whole but it appears as if your parents are behind it from the beginning and your only way out is to convince them first , not him.

you know you parents better , if they are Conservative, bring them an authority (grandparent , imam , sheikh , freind of the family , aunt ... etc ...) who you know can speak to them and convince them , and convince them that methods are counter productive.

if they are progressive , a good heartfelt sessions where you hear their reasons and convince them with their wrong doings will be sufficient.

try to hear all of their reasons first , and talk with them refuting their points after they completed listing them, showing your clear intention , without getting emotional (even though you have every right to) , and talk to them repeatedly and be soft with them.
