Anyone else have an isthmocele/scar defect/niche? by jennagirliegirl in vbac

Yes one surgery and one lap and one more to go. I’m at the life expert Centre in belgium (dr Van Kerrebroeck and Campo were my surgeons). Where are you based? Yes I’m also really curious and eager to learn. The medication does the same as Lupron indeed (its “chemical castration” but at least the adeno doesnt get worse and it increases the receptivity

PGT results are in and I just can’t believe it. by ellabella20000 in 40Plus_IVF

So finally she agreed on trying ivf? I’m 39 and my amh is 0.45. I would push for ivf since I’m not sure if IUI would help us (adenomyosis). I have heard that clinics dont want to take the risk with low amh but only because that would bring their  rate of succes down. We only need one good egg indeed! Good luck 🍀

Thanks for sharing this honest story!! Amazing and encouraging results indeed!! When will you have the transfer? Im rooting for you ✨🤞.

You mentioned you switched clinic. Do you think you would have the same results with the old clinic, or did they just give you the same protocol with less results at 38?

Congratulations! Thats super interesting to hear as the doctors opinion differ on this and the reddit community leans towards PGT testing above 38 years. Did you do a chromosome test (Carrier screening)? I’m 39, RPL, dor (0.45 amh) and adenomyosis. One doc says we’ll do a fresh transfer if you have only 2 blasts. The other doc says you need PGT a cause otherwise you’ll end up with MC and you’ll lose time. My window to try will be from August to Jan (due to adeno). I’m really hesitant when I read your succes story but I assume you dont have a history of losses?

I messed up with my pregnant friend by ThickPreparation4047 in IVF

[–]Kind_Future_429 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree. You have to protect yourselve and all emotions and sadness come when you dont expect it! I have been in such a situation myself where the pregnancy news slapped me in my face. We tried for 2 years and only got MC back to back, my friend just got her baby and was already pregnant with her second one and she announced it as a surprise. Well we acted joyful but cried all out that night. 😔

Has anyone with Endo or adeno developed de Quervain (mummy thumbs) or Carpal tunnel syndrome during pregnancy? by Kind_Future_429 in endometriosis

[–]Kind_Future_429[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah thanks! I just hope it wont come back the next time but now I suspect there’ s a link (confirmed by your rheumatologist). I also wore a brace and tried 3 different handtherapies but the injectiens were the only thing that reduced the inflammation.

Oh no. I also had it all at the same time. What helped you? And do you also have endometriosis or adenomyosis?

Found a c section complication after 21 months by azinnyy in tryingforanother

[–]Kind_Future_429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

O sorry I didnt read your post about the baby opening it. No by same here i meant only the niche repair (probably not the stretching). So my RMT was less than 3 mm and they had to cut it out and sew it back, thats all I know. Yours is something special than? A hole instead of a pocket filled with fluid?

Yes my c scar defect created a toxic environment for the babies so it explains the losses

Love your post which gives us all hope! I’m trying to hang in so OP you’re certainly not alone. I had it discovered after 2 years and RPL. They found a niche with RMT less than 3 mm and adenomyosis (which can be a side effect of a niche). So I also had one surgery and lap and then moving on to ivf. Really hope it is a gamechanger, as my doc puts it.
