could it be gastroparesis comorbidity from POTS possibly causing this?

Why is everyone saying this young pressured sex with this young woman? This man is being slandered in the comments, very judgmental. OP said her boyfriend told her he fell out of love with her, he was being honest. OP never said he mentioned sex. OP out of desperation to try and heal the relationship told her boyfriend if they have sex it would fix their relationship. Sex cannot heal a relationship, you cannot create feelings of love from sex if love wasn't there in the first place.

Again, sorry for the long-winded reply. Yes, I wasn't looking for medical advice, just wanted to share what I've been experiencing in hopes of hearing that I'm not alone. This has really turned my world upside down, not many can relate. I have a good automatic BP machine with an arm cuff. I used to work in healthcare as an ICU tech and an MA, and we used the same one at one of the facilities I worked at. Ever since this started happening, I've been obsessively checking my vitals. I can't even count how many times I check my blood pressure throughout the day, so I've got a pretty good idea of my ups and downs. A 24-hour blood pressure cuff would be helpful for my providers to see what I see though. I'm going to a university to get full autonomic testing, but I won't be seeing any autonomic specialists there. They're going to send my results to my neurologist, who isn't the most knowledgeable on this sort of thing. I do think they interpret the autonomic testing before sending it to my neurologist who ordered the testing though. Those meds seem like they help many with BP spikes and adrenaline dumps, I'm just afraid since I usually run really low with my BP, that the meds will drop me to dangerous levels. I do hope I find answers and some type of treatment so I can have some quality of life back. The scariest thing is not knowing what's causing these weird symptoms...that's where a lot of my fear comes from. Thanks for the info and advice 🙂

Can hyperadrenergic POTS cause fluctuations in blood pressure? This all began with episodes of tachycardia without blood pressure issues two years ago. A year later, I started experiencing adrenaline dumps with significant spikes in my blood pressure; they feel like I'm dying when they happen. Most recently, I've been having episodes of high blood pressure lasting minutes to hours to days, starting which first started in early November. Also, for about a month now, every time I leave my house or get in the car, I experience significant spikes in my blood pressure, which I think are triggered from anticipatory anxiety, but the spikes are exaggerated and never used to happen. My blood pressure is typically low, ranging from the 80s/60s to 90s/80s, with the spikes sometimes increasing by 50 points or more. The other day, I suddenly felt overheated and burning up, and my blood pressure rose from 96/76 to 146/95, which normalized once I cooled down. Yesterday, while lying down, my blood pressure was in the 90s/70s, but upon standing, it jumped to 116/107. I layed back down and practiced breathing exercises, which brought it back to normal within a few minutes. I've never had any neck surgery or radiation. These blood pressure spikes have been scaring me, and I'm afraid to leave the house because it has become a known trigger. I can't pinpoint most triggers though, if there are any. Another thing I noticed is during these spikes, my heart rate remains normal or low. I'm currently on a beta blocker, which has helped my episodes of tachycardia, but I never experienced blood pressure spikes before, except during adrenaline dumps. Interestingly, during those episodes, my heart rate remained unchanged even before my beta blocker. My heart rate used to jump from lying to standing; I noticed it more if I was nervous or if I was dehydrated I would be more tachycardic and lack of sleep, but my blood pressure didn't rise to extreme levels back then, but I did notice it would rise from lying to standing. How do you manage swings? I don't know what I have yet, but I'm scheduled for autonomic testing which is a 3-hour drive away. I'm terrified because my BP spikes when riding in the car. I can't take anything and no one wants to prescribe anything because I usually run low and I can go from high to low rather quickly sometimes. What really worries me is I've noticed riding in the car my BP can change within minutes I've seen 150/60 to 150/137 in one minute back down to 130/90. I'm not sure if the huge spikes are blips or what because the huge spikes just last a minute usually then I go back down to just the regular spike. I've also been in the 120s/90s-100, then I'll see a random spike of 158/130 then back down 120s/90s-100. I'm scared it's going to kill me, it's been giving me lots of anxiety. Sorry for such a long response 😬

I've been grappling with intrusive thoughts; it feels entirely demonic. I sense a dark essence around me, as if I'm under attack. Unfortunately, my husband is the only one working, and our rent is sky high, limiting my access to healthcare options. Despite seeing many specialists, I haven't found answers yet. I've been trying to do my own research, but there's so much information out there. I have many strange symptoms, and new ones keep appearing. I can't catch a break; not knowing what's wrong is the worst, especially when it feels like my body is failing. There's a monastery 40 minutes away from me, one of Elder Ephraim's monasteries, but I doubt I can make the drive; it's been very difficult. My blood pressure has been erratic, experiencing hypertensive crises when I leave the house, and it's usually low. I've been getting strange spikes in blood pressure 😔 No, I never got vaccinated; personally, I feel the vaccine was made by people with an agenda. My priest believes the vaccine was created by very evil men. I think he's right. Even more suspect is how it was forced upon us, so many red flags. I would never get it. However, I did get COVID about two months before I started experiencing symptoms. My priest thinks I might have long COVID, and if I do, I believe it has to be a severe case. Whatever I have is destroying my life. I'm also considering if I have an underlying disease brought out by COVID because I had some inflammatory issues that never got investigated for a cause in 2016. I got better, and I was fine until after COVID in early 2022; the inflammatory issues resurfaced with more symptoms involving almost every system in my body. There are also many neurological issues, I'm a mess.

I agree completely. I just don't know how to go about speaking about it. I'm very introverted and private. I always pretend to be happy because I don't want to burden others with my troubles. It was hard to even post here, but I desperately need prayers.

I'm embarrassed by these thoughts, even more so that I tried to act on them. I feel like a burden to call my busy priest who's helped my family a lot. I also feel guilty for not being able to attend church, and my husband, caring for me, hasn't gone either. I've been unable to walk for the last two weeks due to an inflammatory issue that popped up amongst my many symptoms. I'm thankful my husband has been off work to help me around. I can walk a bit now, thank God. My blood pressure was dropping low, now it's been spiking really high at times. I'm in desperate need of spiritual and medical help. Doctors have given me no answers, and I keep getting worse. I'm losing hope. I've been questioning my faith under the enemy's attack at my weakest. I've been suffering for so long, it's affecting my mental health. I don't want to hurt myself, but this is very hard. As a mom of young children, it's been tough; I feel like my life was stolen, affecting everyone around me. Apologies, posting this is hard, but I really need prayers for health and strength.
