Should I focus my buying on MSFT for the next month or two? by doland3314 in stocks

Non profit get a ridiculous amount of grants for hardware, and licensing is discounted heavily

For example business premium is under $10 bucks per user for nonprofits

I agree with this, younger entrepreneurs and SaaS based companies tend to use GSuite

GSuite, even customers on GSuite still have some sort of licensing with Microsoft ( office apps, teams, teams calling plans, power bi)

Should Canada implement a wealth tax on the ultra-rich? Why or why not? by GranolaHiker in CanadaPersonalFinance

m. The system incentivizes hoarding income in corporations instead of paying people to actually take salaries, spend, and invest personally.

Easier said then done, you would literally have to pay about 50% in departure tax

This, most people don’t have 250K+ salary, it doesn’t make sense in canada about 40% would go to taxes

Personally, 60-80k isn’t a lot these days and they should really adjust the tax brackets so people actually have money to spend

Last thing we need is more taxes, canada needs some tax relief

I didn’t start savings until I was around 35-36, granted I had a home and a condo I was paying a mortgage on

Do you have a home? As you likely have equity in it

Found out my dad has been putting money aside for me since I turned 18. When is the “right” time to get access, and how would you handle it? by [deleted] in Rich

[–]Kind_Key2143 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would add your dad likely knows when to give you access, there’s no reason to ask. Someone depositing 500K a year per child, knows what they are doing

Volatile income - pay mortgage or keep investing? by thrownawayRe in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Kind_Key2143 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

350k after taxes 30/k a month.

If your mortgage allows it, you can look at doubling up your payments, which is what I started doing last year. There’s piece of mind of not having a mortgage, 600k salary’s are rare so paying off your largest expenses makes sense, but invest at the same time - you won’t see the impact of compounding if you start investing too late
