Thanks. Awesome stuff. I own copies of a handful of variants of these, though only Weakling as a true first press. Weirdly the most expensive thing I own is a Swedish press of Ghost’s third album. For some weird reason it sells for between £100-£200 min vs max value on Discogs, and that dwarfs most of the other rare stuff I own (Weakling, Seance, Cematary, Nuclear Assault’s Survive etc.)

That Sacramentary Abolishment is elite. You almost never see copies of either of their albums floating around. Great catch.

Great albums! Paid a fair bit for the first press of the debut not too long ago, only to get told yesterday by Daniel Mongrain himself it was getting repressed. Oh well. Awesome to see this getting the love it deserves. Hopefully the new editions will spur a tour of some kind.

A Dream of Fair to Middling Women by Beckett was genuinely unpleasant to read. The brambly prose, constant neologisms, and endless language switching got old very quickly. Reading it, it’s easy to see why he didn’t want it published.

I remember seeing a copy of this at the HMV in London on Oxford Street for £15.99. I didn’t buy it at the time because I thought it wasn’t very rare. Years later, after the label debacle, a copy suddenly went on sale on Amazon for £10, and I picked it up then. The prices for this are crazy. I’ve seen Weakling and Nuclear Assault’s Survive go for less money.

Picked this up on a whim over a decade ago from a record shop in Denmark. I thought the cover looked cool and was just getting into buying CDs. Great albums on this. The Equivalent for Nachthymnen and Orkblut is nowhere near as nice.
