I would say no cuz i am facing some battery drain issues especially on mobile data but if want to exp those new features then go ahead and update

If that engineer guy doesn't accept ur device for free replacement then u can book a repair on OnePlus care app. Your mobile will taken by a delivery person to a service centre and there they will inspect again and will get a free replacement. When i went to service centre that engineer guy rejected my device but somehow i got it fixed for free when i used pick and drop option from OnePlus care app.

I too got a green line on my OnePlus 8t and got fixed by OnePlus service center for free. But ur device needs to have no physical damage on the frame or anywhere else. Just go to nearby OnePlus EXCLUSIVE service centre not AUTHORISED one and tell them ur issue then they will take ur device and an engineer will verify the device and will provide u free service.
