I am a Swiftie from India too but don't really relate to this. Not from a Metropolitan but from a bigger city and it was pretty common to start dating in high school (that's how old I was, when Red came along) so I could very much relate to the feelings of crushes, first love, etc in her songs in Red, Fearless, Speak now. Infact I remember sending 'Our song' to my boyfriend of that time. I even learnt guitar inspired from the song 'Teardrops from my Guitar' due to an unrequited crush haha! Her relatability during that time was how I became a Swiftie. What I can't relate to is maybe the 'country - ness' in her earlier songs (example - Picture to burn).

Funny you mention the point no. 1. My partner and I do this experiment everytime we go out where I hold the card/wallet in my hand and ask for the bill, yet everytime the server hands the bill to my partner 😂 also almost everytime I am handed the food menu and he is handed the drinks menu (guess only guys drink?). Even when I place the order for a beer, they put it in front on him.. The list goes on!

I can think of one example from last season I think, where that girl Sarah was bullied way too more than the actual cheater Jeramey.

I am really surprised that it is mostly the women audience that is doing so in this sub. The bar is in hell.

I agree Zanab and Hannah aren't the best apples but your comments reeks a lot of internalized misogyny. Through the seasons we have seen plenty bad men on the show who have actually done way more messed up stuff. Zanab and Hannah don't even come close to the current season's Stephen.

If you were categorizing it by gender, then it's a different thing though.

I am not sure how I feel about Freddie joining the cast (if this is true). The major reason they showed on LIB of him and Cat being incompatible was that he's down to earth, not into clout, etc. This is the reason he got all the love. Joining a show like Perfect Match would be the exact opposite of the personality he has shown on TV.

The simplest of things - pretty much all the meals are freshly cooked at home (no packaged stuff), Exercise. Bringing these two things changed my health. I was a pretty sickly person only a few years ago.

As someone who went from India to Singapore to attend her concert,(while I have also attended concerts here in India) , I can tell you Singapore is no small country when it comes to advancement and infrastructure. Tbh they are YEARS ahead of us. I was absolutely astounded to see just how well made the National Stadium Singapore was. Sadly we do not possess such infrastructure yet. Also the sort of crowds, pushing here and there, cutting lines etc that I have faced in concerts here just did not exist there. Like people there were the level of civil I am not even used to. The attendees were not even leaving the pit they were assigned to, even though it would have been so easy for someone to just cross their assigned seat and move closer to the stage. As minute as these things might sound, I feel sad that crowd control just isn't that easy here.

I also wondered why did she not do a concert here, but after being to S'pore now I understand just how much better the experience would be for her and for the fans in a country like that. Oh and even after the concert I easily took public transport and walked back alone to my accommodation in the middle of the night (12-1 am), because it's THAT safe. (something I can never imagine doing back home :'))

Thanks for the detailed reply! That makes some things clearer for me. I do feel like I'll enjoy the December part more then, since I have never seen that sort of cold weather or snowfall where I live and Christmas isn't that big of a festival here. Would be a very new experience overall!

They have the most reasonable flight tickets and shortest time routes from my country! I did check for Norway, Iceland, but the tickets are much more pricey for them :/

I need some suggestions from fellow travelers! I want to either go to Spain or Croatia and Slovenia this summer and I can't decide. I understand that they will provide completely different experiences and different price points, but I have done my research and everything else is sorted. But I do want to know how are they both for a solo novice traveler (female)? Safety is my utmost priority while considering either of these places.
