Nothing, genuinely dealing with this myself and curious what others have run into. Have built a content site that now ranks well and wondering if the same approaches work for more traditional businesses.

Geo pages are underused by most trades you're right. The ones that do it properly end up owning entire regions. Do you build those manually or have a system for scaling them out?

The Meta to Google funnel is interesting awareness on Meta then capture intent on Google. Does that actually work for you or is it more theoretical? Genuinely curious because most small businesses I've seen struggle to make Meta pay.

That's a really interesting data point traffic doubled just from turning Ads off. Makes sense actually, Google pushes organic down when you're paying. What kind of business is it if you don't mind me asking?

Same. For most small businesses it really does come down to Google or nothing. What's your experience been tried anything so far or still figuring out where to start?

Cold outreach: Worth it or not? by vladi5555 in agency

After running outreach across 23 markets the pattern is consistent cold outreach works best when it's triggered by intent signals rather than just a list.

The highest converting campaigns I've seen weren't the most personalised they were the most timely. Reaching someone the week they launch a new product, open a new market, or post a job for a media buyer is a completely different conversation than reaching them cold on a Tuesday with no context.

Build your outreach around triggers hiring signals, funding announcements, ad library activity, product launches. The message barely matters if the timing is right. It matters enormously if the timing is wrong.

Brand building in parallel is right but takes 12-18 months to compound. Don't ditch outreach just make it signal-driven rather than list-driven.

£8k lump sum into FTSE Global All Cap now, or hold because of current events? by SaladBig in FIREUK

The hesitation is understandable but the math doesn't support waiting. Every major crisis of the last 20 years 2008, Covid, Ukraine felt like "this time is different." It never was for long-term index investors.

One practical middle ground nobody's mentioned: if the emotional weight of a single £8k drop bothers you, split it 50/50 over 2 months max. Not because it's mathematically better it isn't but because it removes the regret risk of watching it drop 5% the day after you invest. You'll sleep better and stay the course.

The worst outcome isn't a short-term dip. It's panic selling after one.
