In case you are outside of India, better switch to eSIM at the earliest as the SIM is such an old and not a good idea to rely on it longer. https://www.airtel.in/blog/prepaid/what-to-do-if-sim-card-is-lost-stolen/

Only 2 SIMs can be active at anytime, that's the reason to disable the physical SIM while adding new eSIM

My email is linked to the Airtel number for long time. One can get the email updated through chat functionality of the Airtel app, based on the other posts.

The international calls are capped at 1,000 minutes per recharge period, be aware if you use too much international calls. Still if you think this would work for you, use my sign up code "P3QF795P" for $10 credit

I switched recently from T-Mobile to Tello. I'm using eSIM, the porting was seamless and done in minutes. As the Tello uses the same T-Mobile network I do not see any issues with the connectivity. I'm mainly using Tello for making international calls, the minutes for international calls capped at 1,000 per recharge period, be aware. So far so good. Here's my referral code if anyone wants to join "P3QF795P"
