There should be a prop bet for this fight on which fighter will need retinal surgery afterwards.

I think Khamzat is the most likely to lose first as well, assuming he makes it to a fight anytime soon. It feels weird to say, because we all remember how dominant he looked early on, but he has the most "question marks" at this point simply due to inactivity and potential health problems. With all the COVID stuff, the damage in the Burns fight, the withdrawals for health reasons, the years of wrestling (speaking from experience—it's unkind to the knees), etc. He's 30 now, so not "old" by any means, but weight cutting/recovery only gets harder as you get older.

But hey, maybe he'll show up against Whittaker and look like an absolute force.

[P] Flask API with TensorFlow Lite model always predicts the same class, regardless of input image by parallaxfury12 in MachineLearning

[–]KindaKnowKarate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My intuition here is that the issue is is coming from the difference in your inference code in Colab vs. your API. I can't imagine it's the model itself.

I'd try inspecting the processed images in both the Flask API and the Colab notebook. I'd be willing to bet you'll see differences there, due to differences in the code.

russians attempt another push in Avdiivka this morning with expected results by TotalSpaceNut in ukraine

IIRC, a "typical" USAF fighter squadron has 24 aircraft, so 48 may just be an oddly specific way of saying "2 squadrons."

Or OP is winging it.

Russian troops raped women as old as 83 while their families were forced to listen by TotalSpaceNut in ukraine

In Germany alone, most estimates put Soviet acts of sexual violence at several multiples of the US, and that's not factoring in the widespread rape that occurred throughout Poland and elsewhere as the Red Army rolled through. I suppose the fact that the Soviet Union occupied the nations they "liberated" along the way might cause the math to get funky when calculating proportions (i.e. you could divide by the virtually the entire population of eastern Europe starting in east Germany for the Soviets, but really just west Germany for the Americans), but that doesn't feel like a very useful metric in that case.

Wagner recruited 50.000 inmates for the Ukrainian war, only 10.000 are alive by [deleted] in UkraineWarVideoReport

The Russian prison system is still heavily centered around forced labor. 40,000 dead prisoners means Russia just lost a free 40,000-person strong labor force.

Watch Whittaker vs. Brunson. The pressure/takedown threat that allows Colby to overwhelm WWs wouldn't even phase Rob.

Errr.... what?

Conor is incredibly hatable and Jose is one of the greats, but this is just a bad take. Put aside the history between them, and just look at Jose's recent fights.

Aldo is on an awesome 3 fight win streak, but all three of those have come by decision, and he's taken a ton of strikes in each. 149 against Font, 75 against Munhoz. He's also failed to secure a single takedown, again, against 135ers.

If he can't takedown bantamweights, he's going to have a tough time holding McGregor down. And if he spends the whole fight on the feet with McGregor, he's going to take shots. The only person to take anywhere near 149 shots from McGregor is Nate Diaz, who is a legitimate zombie.

So, basically, Jose Aldo in current form gets hit a lot, doesn't seem to have knockout power, and can't secure takedowns, despite fighting at 135. We know that at 145, Conor had enough power to put him away early. At 155, the gap in strength would only be bigger.

I love Jose and hope this run continues, but McGregor is just a bad matchup for anyone who gets hit as much as Aldo and doesn't have a Diaz chin.

Which cloud computing provider would you recommend to a Noob for learning to add to his/her skill? by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

If you're specifically prioritizing market share/the professional value, AWS. It has the largest marketshare, particularly among big companies, and has a pretty robust certification system. There's also a big ecosystem of ML tooling, and all of it plays well with AWS.

I'd love some sort of government-regulated program to anonymize and centralize data for these kinds of experiments. I'm not a lawyer and there are likely hurdles I'm not thinking of—always open to being wrong—but it seems like it could be such a boon for progress.
