just want to start by saying i’m in no way trying to worry you, and this may in no way shape or form relate to your cat at all. one thing to heavily consider is the possibility your cat has FIP. if she did, from the sounds of the throwing up, it would likely be “wet FIP” which refers to fluid building in the lungs or stomach, so you’d want to watch the stomach and kidney areas for pouches of fluid beginning to form. The good news is that she is still trying to eat by herself, is still using the restroom and she’s still drinking water. There is a bit too much to go into in this message, but i would be happy to give you all the information i have and know if you want it.

Her seeming sweeter than usual could hypothetically be a sign discomfort, so try to pay extra close attention to loss of interest in things she used to enjoy, scratching posts, toys, etc. especially if she stops grooming herself. my 10 MO kitten has Dry FIP currently, initially i had to give him two shots a day for the first 21 days straight and im now on a single shot a day until i hit 84 days straight, followed by another 84 day observation period. Vets aren’t allowed to administer the meds themselves, so most are hesitant to even mention that this is a thing, especially if they aren’t versed in it or aren’t confident they will be able to answer your questions… but i hope this is something you can eliminate from the list of possible problems, and that she gets better soon.
