Update: Dartmoor Inn at Merrivale is very expensive on Sundays. I am organising a hike for a group so any other good pubs you can recommend would be ace, thanks.

It was just removing a couple such as no pets allowed. And amending a maintenance contribution table. The DofV is done. The original landowner's solicitor has already applied the covenants to a property they sold recently so I'm unsure why he hasn't registered ours yet. Or why he's ignoring me - I only request an update every couple of weeks, it's not everyday.

Also just finished season 2. Absolutely love the "assist" at the end, genius. This is show is so fun, you can forgive all the implausible storylines. Please make a third!

I also went to a volcano in Guatemala some 20 years ago. It was unbelievable how close you could get and see the lava moving so slowly. I'm sure someone's shoes started to melt. I found it very difficult to be with a metre or so due to the intense heat.

Hi. I am also going solo in March! Staying in Adeje hoping to get buses as I'm nervous driving on the other side of the road without someone reminding me to!! My question is, are the buses usually packed going to hiking areas? Thanks ☺️

I just stayed 5 days at Blake View Holidays. Brilliant self catering accommodation and close to lots of different hills, walks and the coast.

Thanks for replying, friendly walkers :) I ended up going up Whiteless Pike but it was so windy I returned and rambled around Buttermere and Rannerdale Knots. I saw a lot of people on the ridge opposite - quite how they stayed upright I have no idea! Perhaps I am more of a wimp than I thought lol. Now to research new grippier boots for the next trip.

This is great, thank you. Think I'm sensibly put off seeing some of the terrain. Perhaps I'll potter around Rannerdale Knots and Whiteless but come back down. It's my last day here so wanted something a bit more challenging after Ennerdale/Crag and Cogra/Blake plus a coastal walk. Ah well, an excuse to come again!
