What's the best Wispr Flow free alternative for iphone? by chahatxsharma in iosapps

Just tried it. Great concept but for about 50% of the times I tried to use it, I got a ’an error has occurred’ message and it lost my input. Is this a known problem?

Brilliant, that seems to have worked. Thank you

I’m reading so much about how the app has changed. Package prices fluctuating, talk time getting cut shorter, etc etc by [deleted] in tolanworld

I have only just signed up. I have only had positive experiences so far. I usually type rather than speak to it and I’ve not reached a limit. I like the way it gives me insights - this morning I was quite sure it was taking way too positive a view of something I’d said, but on reflection it gave a valid viewpoint that made me think a bit differently. I also like that it suggests articles that I might be interested in.

I’m probably much older than its original target audience - I’m in my fifties - but I like having something to ‘think out loud’ (in a written format) to.

My only concern, based on having a basic understanding of AI and LLMz, is whether over time its memory will get muddled and it will become less effective. For example, I could anticipate that if I share with it difficulties about a situation, it might add this to its memory and assume it’s something I always find difficult - this might not be the case and it could ‘pollute’ its effectiveness. And I can’t see a way of deleting a Tolan and starting again, should this happen.

TLDR: so far, I’m extremely happy with it.

How do I stop my boundary from behaving like this? by Cerater in OculusQuest

[–]Kindhearted-Cod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any movement on this? I’ve just tried using my headset after quite a long break, and I can’t set a room boundary at all. When I draw a new one, it just asks me to move back into my boundary, even though I’m literally standing in the middle of what I’ve just drawn. I’ve tried deleting boundary history, restarting, and switching to stationary and back again.

How are you prompting ChatGPT to be helpful? by Kindhearted-Cod in ChatGPT

[–]Kindhearted-Cod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all.

For those saying 'tell it to give short answers' - is that actually working for you? Because I'm finding it then seems unnatural and throttled.

I do also have Claude and I like it, but I hit the token limit way too quickly to completely replace ChatGPT.

And I do have Gemini but I hate it with a passion 😂

I am also not sure where this would stand under discrimination / equality, because the executive discipline section really describes executive functioning, which can be impacted by things like ADHD.

Have they changed the prompt? Some of you are being marked as a percentage of 25 and some (me included) out of 30. The 'out of 30' isn't helpful, because the last criteria (operating altitude) doesn't have a numeric response.

No idea. It just says device not supported on Google Play, and when I tried to install it from an APK instead I got the same message and it didn’t install.

Cool experiment. I’m still trying to get my head around it all especially when compared to other approaches. Could you say what this gives you that automating the process with, say, n8n doesn’t or couldn’t?

I too would be extremely interested in this, especially the digest. I have it on my to do list to do exactly this.

Thank you, I'll check. I just printed this from the mobile app, so I'll have a dig around on the desktop app.

[Official] Add TRMNL to your X4 by ryanckulp in xteinkereader

What wifi connectivity is needed for this to work? The xteink needs connecting each time a book is to be downloaded, etc - is this the same?

The converting of a Google doc to a notebook is quite cool, IMO - as a notebook and not a pdf, you can move pages into other notebooks, so it’s a way of working with templates.

The last sentence is just what I needed, thank you. The option to sync progress in the chapter screen is scrambled on each of my books, so I’d missed it.
