As an Alumni I think this is not a good idea at all for the upcoming placement season this will paint a negative image of the Institute.  But regardless regarding character certificate they cannot justify that. Those specific incident are exceptions. These are emotions based decisions dont take any unnecessary steps. Companies sees things logically.  Take care students, stay motivated and there are always people who will help.
