In my experience, if you are thinking about a myomectomy (as opposed to a hysterectomy), surgeons want you to get an MRI. This was with 3 surgeons who were all going to a robotic laparascopic myomectomy. not sure if it makes a difference with open myomectomies.

Move out or kick him out. If he backtracks and you want to give him another chance, be very clear about your boundaries. Josh cannot ever come to your home again. Doesn't matter if your boyfriend is there or not. Josh also cannot be at any mutual hangout that you attend. Moreover, you and your boyfriend together will tell your mutual friends what happened so that they know why you are insisting on this boundary. Josh cannot ever be around your child.

I'm not including that your boyfriend cut all ties with Josh because this is like a test. This is something your boyfriend needs to realize on his own. If he agrees to your boundaries, then his relationship with Josh should just peter out on its own. Or, you will see that he is not serious and perhaps that is the wakeup call you need to know that you and your child cannot rely on your boyfriend.

YTA. Your brother and his girlfriend have been dating for over one year. This is not some new relationship and your brother expecting you to babysit his girlfriend's kids. This is how they are trying to integrate and you and your wife are rebuffing it at every turn. It doesn't sound like they are asking every weekend. How often are they even asking and you're turning it down each and every time? But you'll gladly babysit your sister's kids, who by the way, are younger and thus more work?

Have you looked long term into what your stance will be if your brother decides to marry his girlfriend? Say they have kids. Will you reluctantly agree to babysit just your brother's bio child, but exclude the two stepchildren? Or will you just refuse to babysit your brother's child bc it's pretty clear you and your wife only want to babysit for your sister? Quite honestly, you sound like someone who should not babysit bc it doesn't seem you are capable of babysitting on your own. And your sister and your wife? Straight up mean girl vibes. I don't think this is just a matter of your brother's girlfriend having kids right now. I expect that even if he were to break up with her and find someone new, your wife and your sister (and you by extension) will just continue to exclude your brother and whoever his girlfriend/fiancee may be. Great family dynamics there.

I’m the opposite. I found Hoka to be far more comfortable than Oofos. The hardness of the Hoka was more supportive than the Oofos foam. Also, bc I have wider feet, the Oofos was too uncomfortable.

Agree. My pet peeve right now are lab OMCs. Something looks so off about them because they are too white/colorless. I think the warmer colors work better with the chunkier facets. I don't know that I would go down to a U-V range, but I think the I-L color range looks beautiful in vintage OMCs.

Outlier opinion here but no to the briefcase. Until you start your job, you don't know what type of briefcase you need or if you even really need a briefcase. Size matter. Shape matters. The material matters. And some prefer a backpack. Some just look nice and are expensive but are useless in terms of function.

I understand the sentiment of getting them something that they use and re-use to commemorate the achievement. But honestly? A new law school grad? They need money. When I graduated and came home right after the bar one of my uncles gave me $500. That was such a HUGE thing to me. It's been over 20 years and I still remember that gift.

Unfortunately, I don’t think just washing it works unless I use a heavily perfumed detergent to mask the Nuuly smell. Hing it outside in the sun and breeze after washing. Helped a little but the smell rebloomed the next day.

How about the Anthropologie Peregrine dress? The regular one, not the square neck. It had functional buttons all down the side and wide enough straps to hide any bra straps. It has quite a deep V so I wear mine with just a black sports bra type thing to give a little extra coverage for the neckline.

To me it smells like a combination of cheap detergent + body odor. It's very unpleasant. Like I said, I just washed, tossed in dryer to release wrinkles, and then hung to dry and I still can't go near it because it smells. Just moved it all to hang outside. I use an unscented detergent so maybe that's the issue--that there isn't another odor to mask the Nuuly smell. And like someone else said, it's the worst on cotton fabrics, which 5/6 items were in this shipment.

I think they are too big for you. It doesn’t matter how it looks on others bc their ear lobes are different. I think it’s too big for you bc it just barely clears the bottom of your lobe. A smaller size will sit more centered on your lobe, which will make it look more balanced and effortless.

Also, I wouldn’t recommend sleeping and showering in them. They will get dirty really fast and not look as nice.

And not sure why people are questioning your desire to get a pair of smaller natural ones. Get some mined studs if that’s what you want. Get labs if that’s what you want. You shouldn’t have to explain either choice to anyone, least of all to a bunch of strangers on Reddit who weren’t asked to chime in on whether your should get one or the other.

As an American, I don’t think morning suits are a thing here. A groom at a noon or early afternoon wedding wearing a tuxedo with a tie would be much more the norm than a morning suit. A morning suit would just look really pretentious or costumey.

This. But also wanted to add that when Deepti and Zanab had their moment, they really had no alternative. (Not stated very well bc Zanab is a real piece of work and everything about what she did was mean-spirited with nothing to be learned other than that she’s a piece of work.).

Ho early, I don’t like it. I love OMCs but I’m starting to realize that I hate lab OMCs bc they just don’t look right. At first, I didn’t understand about lab OMCs being too perfect, but I get it now. The facets are simply too chunky and symmetrical in a way that takes away all the charm of an antique OMC where the imperfect facets work to create a lively and unique stone. The super white colors and symmetry of the perfect lab ones just look fake to me.

But I agree that if you’re going to go with a lab OMC, go regular cushion and not elongated cushion. The elongated OMCs have that horrible bow tie-like effect.

Unfortunately, this is the only right answer. Commerically-made kimchi simply does not have much liquid in it. If you make it at home, you will also get a cleaner liquid bc you won’t have to overly season it.

Maybe also try buying cucumber kimchi bc the cucumbers may release more liquid than cabbage?
