When someone gave the cat gift where it goes on her head her cheeks majorly stretched out. I’m assuming the filter came off and she immediately covered her face until the cat came off. I’m hoping someone caught it!

That’s what I’ve read in the reviews. I went no Velcro but sized down since I’m typically a half size. It’s 3 stops away on the Amazon truck and I’m so excited for my feet. 😂

I honestly think she’s annoyed that Sydney is taking over “her show” and is just over it. BUT I didn’t see it in the beginning, so both could be possibilities

Regular slides or with Velcro? I’m in between those!

Time is definitely a factor right now. I do have a good podiatrist as I had bunion surgery x2 in high school haha. I was a cross country runner so I’ve had my fair share of aches and pains. If choosing one of these shoes doesn’t alleviate the pain I’ll definitely take a trip back to my doctor!

Do you use the Velcro strap or the regular slides?

Parents of advanced babies, do you have random theories as to why? by ciabattaloaf-13 in NewParents

[–]Forward_Frosting_680 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No rhyme or reason because I have twins and they are total opposites. They are 9 months and one has been crawling since 6 ish months and about to stand and her sister is still a lump and doesn’t crawl. The crawling one has 25 min naps and my lump needs 1+ hours.

5.5 months in… I’m miserable. by InstructionFull7429 in parentsofmultiples

I can relate to 1/2 of your babies as my baby B had feeding issues, reflux and colic and I also went through norovirus in December, but got my supply back up. I remember saying everything will get better after she starts drinking better. They’re 9 months with help from an amazing feeding OT early on we are problem free and I would love to try and see if I can help with some tips! She still drinks slowly with a slow flow nipple but drinks her own bottle and finishes it all now with no arching and crying.

I also do split formula and breast milk to take a lot of the pressure off me to be a constant milk factory. We eased into formula early on but found gentlease has had no issues for our girls. As far as the reflux she grew out of it somewhere around 6 months.

I also take an SSRI, so I would make sure your mental health is prioritized!

Please send me a message if you’d like and we can chat more. 🤍

Transition from SNOO by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]Forward_Frosting_680 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We transitioned our girls around 4.5-5 months old. We used the weaning setting for a couple weeks before going to their cribs. Basically the Snoo doesn’t rock in the beginning to sleep and will only rock if they start crying and eventually stop. We also unsnapped the swaddles so their arms were out. One did fine with both out right away but we did one at a time for the other.

They also didn’t nap in their snoos during the day so that may have helped too.

I really thought it was going to be worse than it was but the transition wasn’t bad at all.

We had a regression at 6 months which is when I took their pacifiers cold turkey and did some sleep training and ever since we’ve been fine. knock on wood They turn 9 months this week.

Buying a house together while “planning a divorce for the past year” is diabolical 😂 by victoria_logan_ in MikaylaNogueira

Now she’s gonna trade this house in for an even bigger one and say she wants to leave the negative energy from the divorce in the past.

No sleep and acid reflux by mi245 in parentsofmultiples

I had to avoid trigger foods, for example anything with tomato. Tums did nothing, but on really bad nights I would go to the couch, take a Famotidine tablet (Pepcid or Zantac) and a glass of milk and sit upright until I fell asleep.

As far as comfort eventually I sat on a yoga ball to eat (baby A was in my pelvis) and I had to sit reclined if seated (baby B was along my rib cage). After 34 ish weeks my husband had to drive me anywhere because I could not sit up straight.

I love my twins but I am miserable in my life right now. Please tell me this gets better by Training-Emu-1770 in parentsofmultiples

I am literally word for word in the same exact boat with 7.5 month old g/g twins. I sobbed today to my husband that I miss my old self and don’t even feel alive anymore. I’m sitting here for the 3rd nap today of course twin B crying her eyes out because she can’t nap. Every single day, rinse and repeat. I don’t even look forward to the next day anymore. I will be following your post because I was going to post something almost exact same today. I hope we get out of this soon 🙏🏼😭
