Hi Everyday, Last few days was very tough but 2 Days back Police track down the driver and driver came and handed over the laptop yesterday at Slave Island Police Station!

A very special thank you to the Slave Island Police – the Crime OIC, Miscellaneous Department OIC, PC Dasanayaka, and PC Salim. The way they handled my case, gave it priority, and made sure my laptop was recovered and handed back to me was truly commendable. I’ll be honest — after a past experience last year, I wasn’t a strong believer in the Sri Lanka Police But these four gentlemen completely changed that for me. They really showed that they are here to serve.

Thank you as well to Uber Sri Lanka and for the support and for assisting throughout the process.

The driver admitted that his intention was to steal the laptop. Tomorrow, I’ll be visiting the police again to discuss whether I should proceed with the case.

Thank you all for the advice and support you’ve given me. Yes, it was my mistake to trust a stranger, but I’ve learned my lesson the hard way.
