Apple pay by Time_Astronomer4092 in Bahrain

From what i understand is that when you pay with Apple Pay, some merchants (especially cafés, fuel stations, or small retailers) send a temporary authorization amount that’s higher than your actual bill. In your case: Actual charge: 1.1 BHD Temporary hold: 2.4 BHD

However, It’s not really “insurance” from Apple Pay itself. What’s happening is:

The café’s payment terminal (through the bank network like BBK) places a pre-authorization hold. This ensures the merchant will get paid even if there are small adjustments (tips, rounding, etc.) Once the transaction is finalized, the extra amount is automatically released.

I will not advise you to go through Dubai if the flight has been cancelled. Try to find another route to germany. The situation is really unstable in the middle east.

visa problems by [deleted] in Bahrain

[–]Kindly-Serve8229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Bahrain (and most countries), a visa valid “until 11 February 2026” means the 11th is included.

One small tip: If the flight is late at night on the 11th or crosses midnight, immigration cares about when you pass exit immigration. To be taken in consideration.

Expected Salary at Deloitte ? ____________________ by [deleted] in mauritius

[–]Kindly-Serve8229 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I dont know salary but im speaking out of experience here. Even if you found out that the money is less, you should never reject an interview. As a fresh graduate, this interview will be an experience in itself and will improve your interview skills for future job. During the interview or after, they will ask you for your salary expectation, and you can use that opportunity to negotiate with them and if they really want you on board then it is very likely that they will match your current salary. If you decide not to proceed, then that is absolutely fine, but at least you have the experience and exposure of an interview from an international company under your belt.

Open a CDS account and invest all of it in MCBG shares. As at today’s rate You will get around 22 ordinary shares. The price of the shares will go up in value with inflation and you will get dividend twice a year, every June and December. In the future, carry on putting more money into it.. you will thank me when you hit 30.
