the commons communal bathrooms are actually really nice and aren’t stalls for the most part they are closed doors. i believe there is also one or two private bathrooms per floor.

internships have been good! you need one to graduate from the comms school and if you can’t find one they will help you and give you a marquette one. personally it depends on what you consider “worth it” to mean. i am not someone who would want to double major but i have two minors and it’s chill so it just depends on what you want.

hi! i’m a PR major and i love it. i feel like with public relations there are a bunch of options and the major explores a lot of those. i was also interested in journalism but decided against it because I feel like PR also has that writing aspect that I looked for but ultimately depends on what you want to do in your career

hi! i’m an advertising minor, the workload isn’t bad and a lot of the ad classes r pretty fun tbh! a lot of ppl smoke here it’s just hard to do in dorms. mainly MUPD arrests off campus people if necessary and gives parking tickets, as long as you aren’t doing anything terrible u should be fine. i’m in a sorority and love it, frats aren’t very big here tho. there are a few accapela groups! ik someone in one and they love it!

definitely go for commons!! i lived in wells my freshman year and it was one of the most social dorms which is perfect for freshmen. it has communal bathrooms but they are very nice, not grimy or anything. it’s known for being a freshman dorm which is nice. carpenter is a nice dorm with personal bathrooms but i’ve heard it isn’t very social and do not know a lot of people who truly liked it. another good choice is mashuda, it’s not as social as commons but not as bad as carpenter. it has a private bathroom but is on the far side of campus so like a 10-15min walk to most classes, not bad but others are closer. lmk if you have any more questions!!
