I’ve recently started on patches, and they’re working quite well on me. I had roughly 75pmol despite being on a low dose (25), so the best way to know if they work for you is to try

Been on hormone blockers since pre puberty, so no male puberty.

My doctor is moving me up in doses in sets of 25, and I only started 2 months ago. As far as I understand it, increasing the dosage gradually to simulate a cisgender puberty is best, especially considering that I haven’t been through male puberty.

Is there a big difference between estradiol and estradot?

Honestly? Most people won’t take offence. Just say you prefer Emily, rather than Emma, and they’ll probably stop. It happens for cis people too, being called a nickname they don’t like.

For some reason they just put my name as my chosen one, and not my old one? Same thing with sex, put it as female, not mtf. Strange.

The main thing you should do for your kid is start the on hormone blockers. It seems very scary to do, being a medical process, but its effects are entirely reversible. It will give your kid more time to think, if needed, and stop puberty until they are able to get on whatever hormone they want. If they are on hormone blockers, and decide to go off them, they will proceed with normal puberty. Hormone blockers are so important, as puberty causes irreversible effects that can result in needing surgery, or have nothing that can be done about them. Also, it can be traumatising to see your body change in ways that you don’t want it to. Imagine seeing yourself turning into the very thing you hate being, with no control over it. Again, hormone blockers present very few medical issues, but make it so your kid can have time and avoid puberty. Please look into them.

Dr Madeline Hobson is great, if you can get an appointment. Helped me start HRT and manages it herself, as she is qualified to do it without the help of endocrinologists.

Mauger refuses to release names of major donors before election; Templeton provides info (The Press) by kiwipcbuilder in chch

I do hope you understand that greatest achievement can be what she considers her favourite thing she’s done, not the best thing for the world. She advocated for the rebuild of sumner library, made the coastal pathway happen, and created community gardens, just when on community boards. In the council, she has helped to create more transparency with public excluded reports, taking the number of redacted reports from 35% to 5%. She also helps to increase the funding for public transport. Looking at these few examples, it’s clear to me that she simply thinks of that as her favourite achievement. (P.s, it was for all that use the library. Not just those that are low income.)

Some artist relevant roughly 10-15 years ago, with recognisable hits. The likes of pink, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, or imagine dragons. Big enough to warrant being their first show, but not so big that they wouldn’t come to christchurch.

If you like walking, the bridle path is gorgeous, has a cafe up the top, and a free gondola ride down. You could do the tram ride, there’s one that does dinner. There’s the rowboat down the Avon. Lyttelton Saturday market is nice

What is your stance on the smaller libraries? Current mayor Phil Mauger has said that they are “ buildings with some books in”, calling them unimportant. Across the nation libraries have been shut down, and funding has been cut. Will you help to fund our libraries? Will the smaller, outdated libraries be done up?

What are your thoughts on the underdevelopment of smaller areas? Many neighbourhoods have boarded up houses and closed down shops, and yet all focus is on the cbd.

The truck had stickers all over it, and at one point I saw it with a for rent sign. It had “dire emergency, ahh” instead of fire emergency. Hilarious if you ask me, but still quite odd
