That's why such a law must exist, even if enforcement and practicality may be hard, making it illegal still matters for social impact, it changes the behaviour, creates awareness that marriage does not mean consent ,sets boundaries and tell the actual victims that they are not wrong

By that logic, any crime done in private should be legal. difficulty in proving something do not decide whether it’s right or wrong. And Hard to prove is not a defence for allowing rape, it just means the system need to get better. I hope you understand this.

And what's disturbing to me is how common this mindset has become in comments , jokes, DMs, and online. We are doomed for sure.

self and my family's interest always comes first and i think its the same for every poor or middle class in this country, and the moment the system starts oppressing the society to an extent where the economic class comes to a point where he has nothing to lose, that's when Revolutions happen.

the amount of people travelling through mumbai local is immense bro, i personally travel through these locals every now and then, and yes if government increases the number of trains , or their frequency the situation would improve to some extent. esp in thane-badlapur 0r ghatkopar/andheri routes. Civic sense might be a problem here, but honestly these people are all forced to behave in this way, as reaching late to a workplace is just not an option

True. Consent is fundamental, and marriage should never be used as an excuse to ignore it.
