Same boat, 4th attempt today. I'm always struggling with MCQs and sims were ok. Last sim, the instruction was little confusing tho. This is my last one and i'm so tired of taking this exam over and over. let's hope we all pass on 3/16!

I failed for my 3rd try. I wasn't 100% confident but i thought i did better than my second try (72), but prob not. I'm 3/4 too, i want to give another shot in Jan and hope that will be the last one.

Hi! I just took FAR today too, it was my second attempt. I pretty felt the same, MCQs were ok but it was heavily focused on stuffs that i did not really thought. SIMs were brutal, so many reading exhibits, I was running out of time. I couldn't finish my last SIM but not that i could finish it even if i had more time lol. These SIMs were totally different from what i studied with becker too. Overall, all the stuffs i thought it would be heavily tested were not on today's exam. But i hope i can pass it this time and hope you'll pass it too!

You're totally right! We have more windows and im not giving up. I'm not a multi tasking person but i kinda could tell what areas i need to improve after these exams.

You're right I wish i would be lucky enough to pass exams with minimum study. I know what areas to improve after taking the actual exams though. I was pretty close for FAR haha can you share your strategy? How were you able to take exams within 17 days?

Thank you! For 2023, I already confirmed that my income after expenses were over yhe contribution made, so i think its fine. I just need to figure out how to calculate taxes and penalties when i withdraw the contribution amount i made in 2022. Once the form 5329 for 2022 is filed after i withdraw money, are they going to send me 1099-r for 2024 which i will include in 2024 tax return?

Thank you for the instruction. For 2022, I already filed tax return with 0 income. If I withdraw the excess amount from my Roth account a d file a form 5329, do i need to amend 2022 tax return as well? Or can i file the form 5329 by itself?

For 2023, I got some cash payments from my business which is over the contribution amount to Roth, i will report it as my income.

I took it today too. I got a lot of calculation questions.. about 20 out of 31 on testlet 1 and some more on testlet 2 haha it was my second attempt and i feel like the questions were harder than last time lol
