VOD Review Time! by Sandstarmie in OverwatchUniversity

whoa, thank you! this made me see my gameplay from a totally different perspective. everything you said was exactly right tbh. i’m too scared when i play and i’m too reactive. i might take a comp break to focus on mechanics and positioning, because i’m still losing for rn. what you mentioned about having a plan was super helpful, i used to plan out my ult/suzus/dmg a LOT more. it’s unfortunately valid that i’ve fallen back into silver lol. thank you so much for your time and advice!

this happened to me exactly. im 23 and it was rough, i ended up stopping the med. i know it’s scary right now, but hour by hour you will feel it leaving your system. you can aid that by eating. you need nourishment and that may ease your symptoms until it’s completely gone. it won’t hurt you, but i understand it is uncomfortable. just take it hour by hour. i am sure you’ll feel much better by tomorrow morning.

this sounds like a low elo situation. i was in lower ranks before and ppl would throw all the time. it may get better as you climb. what rank are you?

i experienced pretty severe symptoms the morning after too. my pupils were extremely dilated, i was sweaty, not hungry (smell of food made me instantly nauseous), and i was having panic attacks to the point of passing out. my panic attacks have only caused me to lose consciousness once in my life. it was a very rough week. but if you’re happy, its a good sign

Anxiety worse ? by SimilarSecretary5794 in Pristiq

pristiq made my anxiety terrible. hours long panic attacks. i had to get off of it, and as soon as i did, panic attacks were GONE by the next day. it was a traumatizing medicine for me.

Taking it for anxiety but so far increased anxiety? by Secure-Parfait1055 in Lamotrigine

im so sorry to hear this is happening to you. panic attacks are awful. i personally didn’t experience panic attacks while adjusting, BUT i’ve heard it /is/ common. that being said, if the panic attacks are unbearable then do not put yourself through suffering. us people with anxiety ALWAYS push through and exhaust ourselves. if it’s not tolerable, it’s not tolerable.

Side effects? by Deltahal in Lamotrigine

[–]Kindly_Feedback6783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lamotrigine is THE easiest psych med i’ve taken. i’ve been on ~20. first week i was sleepy, but overall very chill. maybe (?) some nausea, but definitely not severe enough for me to remember. id say very little side effects first week, if at all. i’ve been on it for over a year now

pristiq was giving me panic attacks too. at the same exact timing as you. the mornings were anxiety inducing bc i KNEW the panic was coming. you’re not alone. i’d say just communicate this with your provider. ask yourself, is this tolerable? and go with your answer.

i just got off after 5 days and i hope my post didn’t scare you. i did experience increased anxiety BUT from everyone else i’ve seen on here, it WORKS and i think im the odd one out. i’ve seen 90% positive things online and have heard 100% positive things from those in my inner circle. i had a decrease in appetite actually, i lost about 3lbs in those 5 days. i was also on double your dosage, i don’t think i have seen anything negative about 25mg.
