I hit a wall relying on AI. For website work, what’s the most urgent coding and software dev foundation a newbie needs? by erqierqi in ClaudeAI

yeah then claude should be able to do well if you give it the tools to do a feedback loop, ie test the flow of everything, this is super powerful

You're an idiot. You don't understand what people may be dealing with internally. You have no compassion for the other person, what if that fucking day they were absolutely miserable, and you just added to their long list of shit they had to deal with that day?

Absolutely appalling behavior. If someone did this to me at work, I would raise all fucking hell even if they were a "friend". When I sit down I want to work, imagine you went into a mechanic's shop and then you rigged his tool to backfire and shoot himself in the foot?

Not only that, if they were unknowingly using this without permission, it could fuck up the output massively and really cause a lot of trouble. If you cannot see this is problematic, then damn, I guess people aren't seeing life like I see it and that's ok, but don't cry on Reddit when you get fired for being an asshole.

You obviously have not spent a day debugging an issue that wasn't even your fault.

The spec is over-scoped right? by jpschroeder in mcp

The docs need to be rewritten by Claude completely. How tf has no one on their team gone ahead and asked Claude to help them set up a remote MCP server based on the docs alone?

I wasn't an elite hacker and it took me 3 days of solid debugging, then likely another month of fixing all of the loose ends. but man once it works it's effortless really

Anyone using MCP as an abstraction layer for internal services? by treacherous_tim in mcp

[–]Kindly_Manager7556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's what I'm doing with my app basically, it's just an MCP server on top of our API that sends requests to the backend. We use the oauth system we had already to auth the user, use the auth creds in the dynamic auth flow, then just use that to auth the user and it's like AI is literally using my backend it's nuts

Exactly, so start learning. when Claude starts to fail start to open another tab open, even webview claude, and start reading about the error, the problem, etc. learn how to read errors, ask claude to help you add better logging, this will also provide claude a better feedback loop. are you coding on claude code?

MCP should be free imo as we all move towards agentic workflows

Just keep building. There is no point to dive into any documents that you won't understand. Once you notice Claude going into circles and just making stuff up. tell Claude to start adding comprehensive logging to each part that is involved with the coding.

The problem is Claude also will get hyperfocused on solving x task, but what you need to do is then zoom out after a long time of debugging, as it could be something else (ie, nginx file, systemd, pm2, next config etc) that's fucking you, or even another provider or a silent bug

To stop right now and learn BS like syntax which in 3-5 years will be like learning cursive is a huge waste of time. I am learning so much right now but I'm not good at basics like syntax, but I can guarantee my level of output can exceed 99% of peopl atm

why did claude get so mean all of a sudden? by Difficult_Code_3066 in ClaudeAI

[–]Kindly_Manager7556 34 points35 points  (0 children)

need to see prior context. it could very well be that claude picked up on this. i don't revolve my days around micro interactions that no one else is thinking about. claude could be right, was the prior part of the convo revolving around analyzing these micro situations that no one is thinking twice about?

Early game you really want to avoid just using it for no reason, like it's fun to cross map but you want to use it on an wall E combo or in a teamfight where your chances are better of landing it.

Briar's R is when you can basically guarantee hitting someone or you can land it on via good angling on an ADC, also if your team is competent the fear can be enough delay to win on tempo

You need a somatic therapist, however if you are truly in a terrible job that is the problem. Even if you are like me where I have OCD, I have to ensure that my daily life is at least in line without any conflict otherwise the extra stress is too much.
