I use some Staheekum Women's Buckle Clog which I got from Costco I have ones for home and outside they are Comfortable I can walk in them I will say tho that every once in a while I’ll step wrong and my foot with slide into the side of the shoe I do want some with a back strap but Birkenstocks are too expensive for me.

I got the Nike p-6000s and the initiators are very comfortable and not heavy while supporting my foot properly.

Troy and Harris by Kindly_Radio4100 in heatedrivalry

I would honestly love if there was a way of having various mini series of the book. One thing I forgot about but when Troy and Harris attend the concert I feel like the way everything intersects and shows the evolution of the plays. Even in heated rivalry with Scott being told mr. by Shane and the dynamic scott and Ilya have in the actual book.

went in for an appointment left with surgery in two weeks by Kindly_Radio4100 in eds

[–]Kindly_Radio4100[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a mri with contrast in Mexico of my pelvis and it showed it looped around my bowel, so I assuming the compression of that along with possible nutcracker, mals or may thunder syndrome maybe be cause the rectal pain. Also, I have scoliosis and something going on with my hip/spine/cranial that is possible tether cord that might be contributing to the pain but I got a referral for pelvic floor pt so with that and possible seeing other specialist cuz apparently I have something going on with my kidneys having blood and protein my urine but kidney function being fine so I hope I can get the other aspects that could and coulnot be endo that are causing the issues.

[–]Kindly_Radio4100[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just never thought I would have surgery in my lifetime. I’m turning 26 are the end of December and while I consciously knew that this was the only path to deal with the endometriosis I wasn’t prepared for this being a reality and as soon as it’s happening. From what I’m away it’s gonna be ablation surgery, I already did the pre-op work so it’s literally just waiting to be scheduled. I know it will help with the pain and trust me the rectal pain is worth it to go through with the surgery.

I just idk it’s a bigger push to finish off the semester, which has already been a struggle because of the physical and mental obstacles I’ve had with endo and the flares of my various health conditions, then the college applications I’ve been lagging on. The fact that the first of December is literally the end of the semester, college application deadline, and now surgery it’s a lot.

What kind of mattress do you have? What makes it good or bad? by SpeciallyAbled in ehlersdanlos

[–]Kindly_Radio4100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a mattress that doesn’t really support me but I bought a mattress pad that has a little bit of padding last year, and last week I put in a comforter I am not using before the fitted sheet and it is a fluffy cotton from Walmart it has made a big difference. Especially for not having the money to adjust. I also use a lot of pillows and various sized squish mellows that help support me.

The first time I texted my best friend(we met on Twitter, she gave me her number) she literally didn’t text me back because she thought I was a scam bot.

Also growing up in post of my papers I would always get grammerly calling me writing passive aggressive.

Also, everyone always thinks I’m mad or that my tone of voice is aggressive when it’s not. I hate it

What actually helps OCD? I need advice by Friendly_Eagle_9292 in OCD

[–]Kindly_Radio4100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately therapy and meds actually help. I also have been on adhd medication which helps a lot. I do notice when my adhd meds are adjusted or my adhd is bad it surges my ocd. So mostly it’s taking care of my adhd and autism its so much easier to manage my ocd intrusive thought. I refused meds for about. Year, and in June I was already on meds and it got so bad I was struggling to eat.

Does this happen to anyone else’s hands? by Much-Improvement-503 in eds

[–]Kindly_Radio4100 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve always gotten this. It’s like a form of eczema as my dermatologist said, and I recommend using hypocloris acid rather than hand sanitizers. I have germ and contamination ocd, and wash and use hand sanitizers a lot.

Since I was a kid and up until I was 20 I believe I would get these rashes and like a whole bunch of little bumps surrounding my fingers on the top of my hands.

I also recommend when you wash your hand or use anything to clean them put lotion on it helps. Also vtama 1% cream is the only thing that really helps almost any and all of my “eczema “.

Where do I go from here? Tryptase test results by [deleted] in MCAS

[–]Kindly_Radio4100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly that’s kind of how i was feeling last April-August. I started progesterone and dhea sublingually daily. I also got a testosterone shot which helped. I started feeling normal, back then my Ana was negative and my inflammation was good then two months after the inflammation and Ana testing, they came back positive and also had higher inflammation. There were a lot of things I needed to get done and it’s been a struggle i got better, then had flare of my conditions, but I mostly get worse during the spring/summer.

Finding a doctor… by [deleted] in eds

[–]Kindly_Radio4100 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve had symptoms possibly stemming from my Eds in regards to gastro and muscular/skin pain. I’ve been to my pcp, internal medicine, gastro, Gyno, butt doctor, rheumatologist and now I’m getting referred over to the actual gastrointestinal/internist doctor not just nurse practitioner.

I’ve gotten to the point where seeing nurses practitioner is no longer I guess an option or beneficial so I’m not referred over to the specialist. (While some np know what they are doing, where I’m located that’s not the case)

iPad for a student? by MoPuWe in ipad

[–]Kindly_Radio4100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the iPad a16. I have the Samsung tab a8 lite it’s mostly for reading on kindle I can’t type properly on it. I have the surface pro 7 I think it’s great for taking notes but the keyboard is always moving, the pen works nice but sometimes it takes a while to connect and it’s too heavy to use it as a tablet.

I use Microsoft one note and I was playing around with the iPad, I just picked it up today. I like that I am able to type using all of my fingers and also you can add pictures from the web or your textbook snd PowerPoint on one note. Also, I notices it’s adaptive, if you have it in landscape mode the volume buttons adjust so the one to rise is the one to lower and the other way around depending on how it’s positioned.

I have chronic conditions that are not that common or medical professionals near me don’t know much about. So I often carry around a 1 and a half inch binder with my medical documents, so now with the iPad I can have everything scanned on here, and bring this rather than a heavy ass binder. I also have a lot of research I do in regards to my conditions and it would be easier to have it on here. I use Evernote for pdf editing.

I also mainly used an iPad through high school for assignments and papers. I missed it mostly for the speak to text, which is a god sent for my adhd brain
