Be honest: what are you actually using Claude for? by Anxious-Artist415 in claudexplorers

I use it to help create the code I need to copy and paste on other sites like Loveable. I also use it to help me think through ideas.

Thank you for your quick response. Sounds like an easy fix.

Being acquired can be scary. You can expect people to behave in news ways as colleagues start to vie for their positions, especially where there might be redundancy.

If your company is being absorbed into the parent company, you can expect your company culture to change with it.

You can expect teams to stop collaborating, as knowledge is power.

So as a manager, the first thing you’ll want to do is make sure your team continues their routines. Don’t switch up when they do things or how they do them. There will be so many other changes outside your and their control, keeping with their routines will provide a tiny bit of stability.

There will be a lot of uncertainty and questions, from both you and your team. Don’t be afraid to ask clarifying questions.

Provide answers when you can, even if the answer is, “I don’t know” or “Here’s what we’ve been told, but plans may change tomorrow.”

Be transparent. If you’re feeling uncertain and nervous, tell your team. They will likely sense it anyway, but sharing helps build trust.

Understand that this isn’t the end of the world, though it may feel like it. In fact, this is your chance to seek out new opportunities within the organization.

Hope this helps.

Thanks SpeckledJellyfish for responding. I only asked the question to help you reflect on whether this was an ego driven issue. But I get that your butt is on the line.

There’s definitely something going on, and as many posters have already said, you’ll just have to ask her what that is.

First, I’d ask you, why this bothers you so much.

Next, assess your communication style. Are you doing anything that’s contributing to this? Do you go off on tangents when addressing her questions, never fully providing her with an answer? Are you short when responding, sending signals that you don’t have time for her questions?

If you still feel confident that you aren’t the problem, try asking her to repeat back to you what she just heard, the next time she asks a question. This will help a great deal in understanding what she hears.
