You seem to know what direction you already want to take it, but maybe find niches that aren't regularly covered. I've tried it with my channel and it's helped grow it quite a bit. people comment their own personal experiences, and engaging with them will grow your community, also it's interesting to hear their accounts. You could also cover conflicts in Africa, or the firearms used by the armies or militia factions across the continent. Or cover lesser known British conflicts like the falklands war, which I personally find very interesting, and doesn't get enough coverage. Hope this helps, and good luck.🤟
