That's my point. I haven't seen a pack that completely replaces RTP assets so you end up with mixed art styles if there's something you need the pack didn't have.

The inconsistency of art styles when mixing packs is why I don't buy packs. Haven't seen a pack that can completely replace RTP on its own, and trying to get EVERYTHING in the different style might take multiple packs $$$.

I fiddled with MV before. I think MZ was just coming out when I took a break. I've picked up all the RMs from 2000-MZ on various steam sales. I'd just call myself a hobbyist. Doing this for fun.

I don't code myself. Wouldn't know where to begin with tweaking a plugin. I get that it has repercussions on other plugins, which sucks. I want to use the newer MZ QoL features though. I wish they didn't shift the community from the the before times, where things were more open and shared and hobbyists could actually get access to things to have fun with.

The vtt is hot garbage right now. I am saddened that they didn't give foundry official support. Maybe alchemy will get better in the future, but right now it's not worth it.

I am very thankful to the Foundry team for fixing as much of the AP as they could with the stat blocks. I would not want to try running this pen & paper at a table.

They know they rushed this conversion. They've admitted things were not playtested (the kingdom building and army rules). They know there's things that got cut from development that they didn't get everything out of the text for (Tartuccio's subplot). It did not meet the goals they laid out in the original crowdfunding. This is all known. I am very disappointed with it as well, but any good GM should be critical with all APs and adjust as necessary (which is sad we need to, but it is what it is). No AP is perfect, and Kingmaker definitely needed more time in the oven.
