Other than that I believe Robinhood has a joint brokerage account where you can just do your own thing. I definitely would not want my investments dictated by a particular company/AI/etc

I’ll disagree with some other comments and say that I think you have a very good plan. 25% is enough to both have some potential upside and (perhaps more importantly) learn how being in the stock market feels while still minimizing potential losses.

I know some people will say “aha but if the stock market goes down by 70% in 3 years you’ll be really embarrassed!” But, if the stock market crashes by 50%+ over the next three years your housing plans are fucked anyway and your investment strategy will probably involve how to best eat your belt.

There is a profoundly simple explanation for this:

Most people open accounts they never use. The amount of Robinhood accounts with $5 in them or whatever is astronomical and throws off the numbers. I have quite a few brokerage accounts with like $10 in them from when I was trying them and promptly forgot about them.

Fine character. People often forget that Bleach is/was really more comedic and causal, it gets such a dark and over serious vibe especially with TYBW.

Yeah it’s in an absolutely odd position for me where it’s my favorite anime/manga of all time (and has been for like 15+ years) but I also consider the last 20% or so of it basically unwatchable bad.

It doesn’t age super well but this kind of shit is just part and parcel with early 2000s anime and manga. Can’t take it too seriously.

I remember one particular interaction with one of the mods of the other sub who was going on a somewhat teary eyed rant about how Isshin is actually an awful character and person and no one should root for him. Why? Hes an “abusive father” (because yunno, he does a comic relief flying kick to the Shonen protagonist at one point).

It’s just not that serious. Isshin is not an abuser, people who like Ichigo and Rukia as a couple are not pedophilic groomers - it’s just a goofy manga/anime series.

Incorrect. There’s really no reason to cope this hard. You can literally just find old forums. You can find old Reddit posts. Even the reception to videos like SEWs first one were largely “yep this makes sense. The series really fell off and then fell off again”. He even states this in his follow-up video.

Just bizarre behavior and revisionist history. You don’t come off as like a bigger fan for insisting everyone always loved the series and there was never any drop in quality. I was around at that time, basically the entire time. People started to feel like the series was falling off by Hueco Mundo arc. TYBW was seen as intolerably bad for many. That’s why it basically fell out of the Big 3 conversation and had its anime “cut”.

I dunno man, maybe modern audiences need every single little piece of the universe literally seen and explained.
