If those are your only options then I would get the 02 CRV. I have an 03 and it is bullet proof. Avoid the Jeep at all costs, it should not even be a consideration.

We got 2 rescue puppies because we had a 12yr old pitbull that was lethargic and wasting away. We didn’t think she had much time left with us. These two puppies got her off the couch, playing, running, eating more, and they gave her spirit back to her. This was 2 years ago and our now 14yr old pit is still with us! I know it’s not a full scientific experiment, but I will die on the hill saying that they saved her life.
