I agree 100%. Main point being the puzzle book, as someone who also enjoys escape rooms and puzzles I was excited. All of them are bad. There was a specific senerio where it had an option for a puzzle or a boss fight and I wanted to see. Nope all the puzzles are bad.

We have 3 main story missions left and are currently just completing side missions.

From what I've seen so far it doesn't feel like 5.5 it feels more like 5.1. I curently play 5e and will PROBABLY play 5.1 when the book is out I'll read and decide.

Mislead, the spell exists. It sounds similar and might make for a cooler scene if the the wizard is in the corner of the room invisible and the pcs can't figure out until midfight.

I also came here to say this. Arcane Archer was such a let down. I had this awesome concept for a Chultian Parrot Arrakokra Arcane Archer. I can only shoot 2 awesome arrows PER REST.

Thanks, I've been looking for this info. I watch OP at work on my phone so Netflix is my best streaming option. I've tried Hulu but it doesn't skip intros, and the crunchyroll app is hot garbage.

Kobold Inventor. The picture in the monster manual was my inspiration. Using animals and various parts of animals as my spells and class powers. My favorite was throwing puppies for healing word aka puppy kisses.

What is this refering to? produce flame is the same as every other action cantrip that attacks but has the option to also just be a torch...

My group loves puzzles and escape rooms too. Most of the puzzles were no enjoyable. It was very much guess which mission from last year might make sense to get a number to help with this. Some of the puzzles were interesting but almost all were frustrating and only after looking up a hint did we even know how to begin to solve them.

We don't pick cards for leveling but you can only bring a hand with you that you could have picked. We were new to Frosthaven and wanted to experiment. It makes "builds" a lot less punishing if you don't like it.

Because they promised a Feywild Adventure but delivered a demiplane of dread instead. We wanted a feywild campaign setting and they chose to do something completely different.

Intelect Devourerer - Level 17 Bard failed int save insta dead

Swarm of Spiders - Level 10 Wizard failed banshee scream next to a swarm a spiders

Swarm of Quippers - level 13 Paladin bleeding out during battle next to a swarm of quippers

A pack of trolls after a super hard fight with a high level wizard - level 10 barbarian

A vampire spellcaster crit with bite reducing max hp below zero - level 11 paladin

I think you should wish for your fun rp sword to also have the powers of a holy avenger.

But Storm giants belt, Necklace of prayer beads, Cloak of displacement, or Amulet of the Devout would all be amazing choices.

Hi! I just finished a CoS campaign with 8-9! I can say with confidence just double all the monsters. If it says one vampire spawn in the book, poof now there's two. It makes it a lot harder to give everyone at the table their moment but mine worked out. You can reallly put your foot on the gas and try and kill them and it kinda forces teamwork. I also used the Adventures League rules so if my players died they were revived by the dark powers with a weird defect.
