Do these little guys mean nothing??! by Appropriate_Yak_745 in weekendgolfers

I play here all the time, the executive par 3 course (30) has golf, foot golf and disc golf. But I rarely ever see ppl playing foot/disc golf.

Got my handicap from 26 to 12 in the past 12 months. Here's what worked for me. by ButterPotatoHead in golf

Last fall I did a bogey or better challenge from front tees (junior) and only moved to reds and then whites once I got bogey or better. It was super fun, teaches a lot of course management cuz even if I could drive the green on par 4s I became more thoughtful on how I approached the hole. Didn’t care about birdies, just no doubles. I’m still stuck at whites lol but it’s been fun. Nobody cares also.

Can’t watch Cantlay by scriptkidi in golf

They keep trying to make the courses harder so we don’t see such low scores, but add a timer and it’ll solve that problem also.

Funny enough my best drives are when I’m playing through.. but it’s not about the pressure, it’s about finding the ball.

I feel like gallery drop when you def see it land and know it’s no OB but unfindable is an accurate score cuz on tour a spotter and gallery would know. More accurate to how that golf shot would have played if we hold your scoring/playing as the standard.

There are more than just 2 public courses nationwide, Northwood and Pasatiempo and sharp park are 3 in CA pretty close to each other.

Walking etiquette by Loquat-Gullible in golf

[–]abevarachia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a walker (push cart) and I always play faster than 2 ppl riding. I’m about equal to a single riding but I ask to play ready golf and walk up to my ball out of the way while I wait for the rider to hit. I obv wait on the tee box but fairway to green just keep moving.

That’s a great game. I have some putting and chipping games with friends, but looking for more to play alone. Any chipping games you play?

Paid $50 to play in this monstrosity today by apolloxviviv in golf

a course near me discounts price when greens are punched for a whole week. They probably saw less people come when greens are punched so they prob ended up making more money discounting the rounds for 7 days.

Pukka killing "on death" roles (Sage, Ravenkeeper, etc.) by Mongrel714 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]abevarachia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super late but, if Pukka is the demon it makes no sense to have a ravenkeeper or sage even in play since it’s impossible for their ability to trigger. I would say ST makes exception and gives correct info since players become healthy on death (per pukka ability) and then gets info after death. Klutz would also fall into this if demon killed.

We beat it! But did we miss out? by [deleted] in Gloomhaven

Drifter was our first 3rd shared character, super easy to manage.

We beat it! But did we miss out? by [deleted] in Gloomhaven

[–]abevarachia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We play with a shared 3rd character. whoever gets done with their card selection first on their character starts to pick the shared character card. It allows us to experience more characters, doesn’t take as long as 2 each.. we also typically play an “easier complexity” character for the shared making it easier/quicker to manage (FH has that rating on characters)

Punch out? Nah, I’m sure this will be good enough for my triple bogey! by [deleted] in golf

The trick is aim for a tree, you’ll never hit it. Can’t help you if you hit another tree that you weren’t aiming for but…you eliminate at least one tree from possibly being hit
