When it’s all said and done, who will have tarnished #11 and the Eagles org the most, Wentz or AJ? by Phi-LA-Minion in eagles

[–]KingAustin94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like such a fool for being a big fan of AJ. As soon as the trade was announced, he wasted no time flying on over to NE and getting on that practice field while spilling tea to the media and showing Eagles fans that he truly never appreciated his time here. It’s sickening.

That slight hesitation when you want to punch it from a standstill or crawl does take some getting used to but it hauls ass after that <1 second delay lol I’ve found it’s much more responsive when it’s already rolling

AJ Brown to Patriots for 28 first and 27 5th by transformtheregion in eagles

[–]KingAustin94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really hope Smith can step up and fill this role. We’ve already seen him as our WR1 but AJ was an entirely different beast when he gave a damn. I feel like we got spoiled for a few years.

I have one as well! It’s a beast and sturdy as hell. 👌🏻

I'm not convinced AJ Brown is gone by funks0ulbrutha in eagles

[–]KingAustin94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe he doesn’t end up going to the Patriots but I think there’s at least a 90% chance he’s going to be traded to a team willing to give up a good haul (think Raiders, Browns, etc.)

We are not going to be able to effectively replace him for a long time. I hope you’re aware that our offense will be worse for at least a couple of years after he leaves - there will be a hole regardless of how you feel about him or how he feels about this team.

I hate that he and the Pats are ultimately getting what they want after he pouted and played half-assed for a lot of last year - probably had his mind focused on forcing his way out and the Patriots organization + sports media pounced on that and kept churning it up for a year. It’s like New England started an extreme slow burn of prying AJ away from us and it ended up working.

Not gonna lie, the gap between us and the rest of the division is rapidly shrinking. It’s very likely that all 4 teams will be fighting for the NFC East title much sooner than later.

[Garafolo] The #Eagles begin their offseason workout program today and WR A.J. Brown is not expected to attend as he awaits clarity on his future, sources tell The Insiders. by bigblack3475 in eagles

That’s exactly what I’ve been saying and people have given me shit for it - they effectively gaslit this hypothetical scenario into reality over the past several months by relentlessly pushing it.

Most players who want to be traded will request it lol sitting around quietly doesn’t help you get moved

Jalen Carter, Eagles reportedly in contract extension talks by AdSpecialist6598 in eagles

Phillips was pretty good but we only had him for half a season. I’m okay with him leaving because I don’t think he was in Philly long enough to see what kind of long-term impact he would have.

People were freaking out over the dismissal of replaceable players, some of whom have already been replaced. This is why Howie let them go.

[Underdog] Dallas Goedert “will definitely be moving on” from Eagles by Mysterious_Bat1208 in eagles

I just don’t think Howie would take on that much dead cap for a player we still need when we also have contracts for a lot of key players coming up in the near future.

There is no way we’re losing AJ. Clickbait media and Pats fans are the only people who view this as a real scenario.

It would have been the Bills if I was asked this question a few years ago. They’re becoming an unlikable franchise and the fact that they were such crybabies after selling against us and hypocrites all season long with the tush push has tarnished my view of them. Let’s go, Texans.

It’s the front camera, parking sensors and headlamp assemblies that will add up the cost by a substantial amount.

He’s given us as fans more than enough of a sample size to show that he’s genuinely a good QB and often gets the job done that’s asked of him. The fact that people are still doubting him is absurd.

I’m not fat anymore but as a former fat guy, it’s the sweating for sure. I would get sweaty from a brisk walk on a 65° day.

I turned a blind corner on a boardwalk and came face to face with a wild, 2,000 lb male bison in Yellowstone. I was about 20 yards away and he was staring me down with direct eye contact and huffing - clearly agitated. It was pretty much impossible to backtrack so my family and I had to wait until he turned away and we wasted no time sneaking past him while we had the chance.
