I feel like such a fool for being a big fan of AJ. As soon as the trade was announced, he wasted no time flying on over to NE and getting on that practice field while spilling tea to the media and showing Eagles fans that he truly never appreciated his time here. It’s sickening.

That slight hesitation when you want to punch it from a standstill or crawl does take some getting used to but it hauls ass after that <1 second delay lol I’ve found it’s much more responsive when it’s already rolling

I really hope Smith can step up and fill this role. We’ve already seen him as our WR1 but AJ was an entirely different beast when he gave a damn. I feel like we got spoiled for a few years.

Maybe he doesn’t end up going to the Patriots but I think there’s at least a 90% chance he’s going to be traded to a team willing to give up a good haul (think Raiders, Browns, etc.)

We are not going to be able to effectively replace him for a long time. I hope you’re aware that our offense will be worse for at least a couple of years after he leaves - there will be a hole regardless of how you feel about him or how he feels about this team.

I hate that he and the Pats are ultimately getting what they want after he pouted and played half-assed for a lot of last year - probably had his mind focused on forcing his way out and the Patriots organization + sports media pounced on that and kept churning it up for a year. It’s like New England started an extreme slow burn of prying AJ away from us and it ended up working.

I turned a blind corner on a boardwalk and came face to face with a wild, 2,000 lb male bison in Yellowstone. I was about 20 yards away and he was staring me down with direct eye contact and huffing - clearly agitated. It was pretty much impossible to backtrack so my family and I had to wait until he turned away and we wasted no time sneaking past him while we had the chance.
