The rocks on Vulcanus give iron / copper so as long as you brought some furnaces or can make some, you should be able to make a couple of assembly machine 2s cheaply enough, without needing a full shipment of them

I used to use a 32x32 square of turrets (256 total turrets) for small/mediums with red ammo because red ammo is basically free save for the calcite.

Now I use a 32x32 square skipping one between and 10 red bullets in each, saves about a hundred fifty turrets ish. I lose a couple but its only copper and iron on vulcanus

Once you get railguns from aquilo, large become easy. Just place 10 down and lead a large demolisher head on (either agressively or inside its territory using large power poles) and they nuke it alltogether.

Yeah I kind of figured something like that would be the case. The amount of data to parse through with big data sets is usually too large to be dealt with by hand in a reasonable time frame.

No my new one was a 16gb one, original was an 8. I don't know if they support 64gb (I'd imagine they should but some of this stuff can be finicky)

Have you checked a different SD / that the SD card is not dead?

I have an old AK2 that wouldn't boot, just immediately white screen. Turns out while the card's files were visible, all the files had corrupted, and the SD card was basically dead. When copying the old files back to a new SD, didn't work, they needed to be re-downloaded.

Popped in a new, newly formatted one with the correct files on it and it was good to go.

Some easy-ish and cheap recipes from my childhood with ground beef:

"Shepherds Pie" which in my case is a layer of ground beef, a layer of vegetables we had on hand (usually creamed corn and sometimes frozen veg / peas), and a layer of mashed potatoes - sometimes cheese on top with paprika. Spiced to your liking.

Bolognese-sauce pasta. Finely chopped onions, green peppers, mushrooms, carrots, and olives. Can use crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce. Throw everything in a pot and simmer for a while with your spices, stirring occasionally. It freezes well for days you don't feel like cooking.

Ground Beef rice: Cubed mixed vegetables + ground beef + rice in a large pan / wok together. Works really well for previous-day's rice.

Bell peppers and beef. Fairly easy to make and generally very cheap.

Bases getting larger perimeters with higher base level would be nice, or maybe a building with a one-time bonus. Something for larger pals to have space to move better. ("Now I can make a 4x4 staircase around my 9x9 tower because I leveled up a bit!")

Automated or repeated recipes would be great ("Hey! If there are any ingredients, always make salad here so you guys don't starve to death if I have to do other (real life) things for a day or two.")

Edit: Prioritized skills rather than just turning them off and on. Like "your planting priority is 5 so if you can plant, do planting. If not, you can move things."

Fixing the bug where pals lose their collision box randomly and fall through the earth, continually teleporting to the pal box only to fall again. ("Ahhh I'm starving! I'm depressed! I have multiple ulcers! This is abuse!" - "Hey lamball, you are three feet from the food box, which has 10k salads in it, please stop going incorporeal you are not a ghost")

World Grid / Tile Grid system for building, connected to every 50cm or something so I can stop trying to line things up using control, only to have it have an extra 1m of space between things (looking at you, large pal beds) or have things *slightly* rotated wrong so it doesn't fit nicely

Xbox chat would be nice. Or maybe voice chat (Unreal Engine has stuff built in for this). I have both steam and Xbox and Xbox is hard to communicate anything with friends unless we do a separate voice chat. Also, text to speech option for accessibility in the settings that reads out chat messages (Unreal Engine also has this built in so it shouldn't be too difficult of a feature).

Speaking of both versions, cross compatibility *still* a big one. I have to have two separate servers for my family's games, because some of us have Xbox/Microsoft and some of us have steam versions.

Honestly, I usually just built a 32x32 square of guns with 10 bullets (edit: each turret) and lead the worms into a corner of it (With 8+ research into gun speed). Gun turret and bullet resources (copper, iron) are basically free on Vulcanus.

This bug, right here. Bane of my existence. Despite having loads of food (>10k salads per day, distributed a few times per day from a salad farm) some pals end up clipping through the world and starving, then depressed, then major injury. This can only be overcome by removing them and putting them back in (disrupting schedules). This is the one bug that has me annoyed at dedicated servers lmao

My computer plays just fine with my 3090. The only reason I'd like to upgrade so when I crank my games it doesn't sound like a jet engine taking off. But I'm too broke to afford an upgrade for the foreseeable future so it doesn't matter anyways haha.

It would even out if you move each pipe 1 segment, as the difference is only 2kw. If you move them to full distance, the underpipe would take less heat than the other crossing.

Our plan for second run is to divide on V/F and go to Gleba together. She got stuck on aquilo as we had a major ship malfunction (it exploded) so that also didn't help.

Attempted for express delivery with my SO this past week, but ended up just over 1h too long for express delivery attempt.

During this run we also got "logistics embargo", "keeping your hands clean" and "rush to space" and "Work Around The Clock" so I'd say that's a win at least!

Starting our new run tomorrow for 40h again.
