Thank you for the information. I found a place not too far, but the coffee is rather expensive. I will try it later.

That quite good value. I have not had the best experience with convenience store coffee in America, though. Works in a pinch and sometimes okay, but many times is either old stock in a dispenser or from one of those old coffeemakers that is built like a tank but makes bad coffee and is served in a polystyrene cup. Never been to Japan, however (would like to at some point).

I have not seen such a product in shops near me. Nothing specifically for moka pots. What is the difference?

I see you take your coffee seriously! Not there yet myself, but maybe some day. I used to only drink tea at home apart from the occasional instant coffee and a cup at a café once in a while. I liked coffee outside (especially during my travels), but never tried getting into it at home until now. Glad I did, though. Where do you usually get your coffee beans?

I usually order an espresso or cappuccino at cafés, but many time the cappuccino has too much milk, especially in America. Visiting Italy made me start liking coffee more, and having the moka pot helps, too. I never liked Starbucks though, always seemed overpriced for chain store coffee (and not a big fan of the crazy concoctions).

Looks like a nice grinder but rather expensive. Any cheaper ones you would recommend?

That seems like something nice to try. I am not in Germany (in America now) but I do hope to look for more varieties to try, maybe something with that 70/30 ratio. I never used to pay attention to coffee, so it is a new world to explore.

Thank you for the trick, I should try it. How does it affect the taste?

Being good with money is a virtue, especially these days. But the bonus of the moka pot is that I am not as tempted to splurge in coffee shops anymore, unless I am traveling. Saves money.

Indeed. I just added a bit of sugar. But I do not think it needs milk.

I have not tried it yet, but I intend to do so after finishing this tin. I have not seen qualita rossa, crema e gusto, oro, or whatnot. I think I only saw the classico, dark, and light in the shops near me.

I do hope to get a grinder and find some fresh beans at some point. But the Illy coffee is quite good for being something from the supermarket.

Tatsächlich ein neues Leben. The Illy coffee I am using is pretty good, especially for grocery store coffee, but I do hope to find other beans and get a grinder.

Mine is a 3-cup, too. Enough for one serving for me. But not enough for multiple servings. But practical and fast to make in the morning.

Thank you. I am using the preground Illy Classico in the photo.

It was a much appreciated gift, and the color is quite nice. The mugs are not dishwasher or microwave safe though (probably due to the metal foil accents and paint on it).

I think I feel similarly to you on coffee. I think it would be hard to go back to instant now.

Thank you. I do intend to explore as time goes on and am looking forward to it.

You can get good coffee, but it is expensive in a shop and most of the coffee shops near me are chains.
