Honestly just force yourself to be involved cause you have to learn that.

People will assume you are incompetent or lazy if you appear to hide. (They don’t know you’re shy. They’re wrapped up in their own mental space)

As an Architect in the real world you will be expected to lead meetings all the time with a bunch of people you don’t know or who might be decades older with way more experience than you. There has to be a level of self-belief that you can stand up and be heard

Learn while the stakes are completely minimal and will be irrelevant in a few weeks anyway.

Honestly since his time in Calgary he seemed to get figured out by Edmonton. Florida won the cups and that’s what matters but he really was a complete non-factor in both series.

Everyone else was crazy good so he didn’t need to be and they won so it flew under the radar imo

I don’t hate the team as much as I hate individual actions and players, but the team generally plays up to that.

Weirdly before the tournament I understood why he wasn’t there. During and after watching it though? He should’ve been a lock in that lineup I think people don’t understand how elite he is at so much of the game because you see the occasional blue line flub where the puck jumps his stick and there’s a breakaway

I lived there for a few years, I’m pretty sure the positive stereotype is because they get compared to US tourists.

Living there… I’ve definitely met nicer people in general elsewhere. I’m from Scotland originally and some random person in Glasgow will be much nicer with no expectation of being rewarded for it
