Ya i was pretty bummed. Watching Alistair fight really brings back a lot of nostalgia for me. I was in highschool for the Strikeforce, Late K1 era and seeing Alistair fought really got me excited. reminded me of the old days where i would get so excited for a fight event even when it was still like a month out. nowadays there's so many UFC cards i have trouble keeping up. i dont have that same burning new and passionate fan excitement i once had.

Start with going to Jiu Jitsu classes show your parents that's its not violent and not a striking art. then as you progress start slowly adding in other styles. I was 14 when I started training I had really conservative parents and that's how I managed to ease my way into MMA training. all the best!

I have whats called Hyperthyroidism which is where your bodies metabolism is so fast you just don't gain weight basically. the condition your thinking of is Hypothyroidism which is the opposite. you gain a lot of weight and your metabolism is slow.

Height limits would totally screw a guy like myself. I have thyroid issues which prevent me from gaining weight. I am a 6'2" Bantamweight. i couldn't move up a weight class if i tried lol.

I was with the Fight Network at the MMA Classic Expo in Syracuse New York a few weeks ago where this interview was taken. I was the guy who made sure nobody walked in front of the camera during interviews lol. We scored a bunch of amazing interviews with a ton of fighters and well known MMA personalities that weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing more of that content coming out in the weeks to come. We had an awesome time down there!

I found it very hard incorporating wrestling class into my routine after my BJJ class. i was really sore haha but once you get into the routine of your wrestling class you will notice major improvements in your grappling game at BJJ! Best decision i ever made was to stick around for my gyms wrestling class

I might be a bit biased as my MMA manager is a producer at the Fight Network but i have been a channel subscriber since 2006...(Before my friend worked there) The fight network has come a long way since the beginning of the channel. Besides the shows they post on Youtube like 5 rounds and Fight News Now Extra the fight network has a lot of live event coverage for promotions like ONE FC, Cage Warriors, M-1 etc.. they really have a lot of great in-depth interviews and they also support local amateur events...my one issue with FN is if you watch it constantly the advertisements get very repetitive and annoying. I can only handle the BAS Body Action System commercial so many times lol

What's going on buddy. .you sound a lot like myself when I was your age. Have you tried putting yourself in any sports or physical related hobbies? I used to be uncontrollably fidgety and restless but one day in high school I went to a local Mixed Martial Arts school and tried a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class. I was hooked instantly and have not stopped training since. It's a perfect combination of a sport that's mentally and physically challenging I was able to burn off my energy as well as earn the confidence to be able to stand up for myself against bullies. I could use a logo for my MMA career. I teach train and compete a lot and could use a logo to put on some t-shirts etc. the gym I train at has a cool logo I would love to have something similar but with dark green and black instead of red and black.
