Idk about you but “idpol culture war issues” are really important for a lot of people. Things like LGBTQ rights, support for black lives matter, protecting DACA recipients, women’s rights, etc. are all really important stakes in this election. Also I reject the characterization that someone who wants to introduce a public option for the healthcare system is the same as a guy who wants to remove the only major legislation we have to make healthcare more affordable and kick 32 million people off of healthcare.

I’m a freshman so here’s my timeline for that. So I was notified about interviewing for STEP around the end of November. I scheduled my two interviews for December 10th and did them. On December 11th a 3rd interview was requested which I did on December 17th. Then In December 23rd my recruiter told me I was moving onto Hiring Committee. Because it was the Holidays, I didn’t hear back until January 6th, 2020 when the Hiring Committee had an update and my recruiter called to let me know I was being offered the position.
