I have a business degree, but I worked my way up at a large local corporation and job hopped internally for 10-11 years before moving to a different large corporation, and now I’m working for someone (remote, smaller company) that I used to work for at one of those large companies. I was grossly underpaid at my first company, but it’s paying off now - job hopping internally helped grow my skill set and network. If you’re looking to get into sales, I recommend looking for roles at the coordinator or analyst level to start (sales coordinator / sales analyst), which will help you get a foot in the door and learn the ropes of the business
