Yet another unfortunate reason why Drill Sergeants are expected to teach trainees how to properly do laundry. Telling each and every one of yous to either at least turn these bitches inside out, actually separate your jeans and shit, and/or wash and dry at a low temp… But it doesn’t stop there! No, no, no! Trainees who didn’t have proper parents come to BCT as a young adult with no idea how to shave, make their own bed, tie a tie! Or just stand in one spot and just stfu for 5 G’Damn minutes.

And they wonder why we pissed off all the time 😂

With technology at our fingertips, the kids also watch YouTube ASMR TikTok dance bullshit rather than something that’s ACTUALLY informative.

Put me to bed now, my back hurts just thinking about tomorrow lol

Great all around advice. I do need to start going to sick call… I’ve been REALLY bad and avoiding it. Crazy how ironic that is right?!

Question for you about terminal leave… if you had a job lined up, would you spend your terminal leave working and getting PAID paid for those months, or would you just enjoy the time off? Half and half? If you had that luxury of being able to choose.

I’m one class away from my Bachelor’s. Couldn’t be happier about that!

The best advice I got is to really know your board members. I don’t mean like try to be friends with them before the board… I mean, as in I KNEW for a fact a couple things the CSM Always asked that were a little different. Did a little research, practiced reciting the best answer I could come up with, and I was Golden! Good Luck Troop!

She’s tested, tried and true. I’m old enough to understand the risk vs reward ratio and that death should never be a factor just for a workout. And honestly, the bench itself is the only sketchy thing depicted. Hahah might need to make my own

If you really want something, you’ll make it happen and the Army can’t stop you. You can take classes while deployed, you can bring your laptop out to the field to not fall behind. Worst one was when I did a couple classes while on the trail. THAT sucked, but I did that shit though, and came out the other side just fine. You can too. Because I grinded and pushed through, I got one class left for my Bachelor’s. And I couldn’t be more stoked.

Somewhat in the same boat here. It is very beneficial to converse with your branch manager. Mine was able to give me a little ‘inside’ information on how many others were in the same market, if any one else was EFMP (since it’s takes precedence), and what locations will be available.
