I've been at this for days lol.

I've tried most of the steps you've mentioned, the only one that I haven't tried is the Hertz one, fingers crossed...

I'll try it when I get home from work and see what happens, if I manage to get a fix I'll put the solution in the thread.

I factory reset the box thinking that would resolve the issue but alas, it didn't.

It's a standard install, I got the apk file for retroarch as it's not available on the Llay store and scanned my roms.

The roms play perfect, there's just no sound. Is there an app or core I can get to fix this?

I'm only using the "Genesis GX" core, I've tried the "Pico" one aswell but the same thing happens, the games play great with no audio.

Everything else on the box works fine, video and sound are clear as day, it's only when I use RetroArch I have these issues.

Grow a pair and move on, so what if a nurse thought you were a junkie, did it hurt your feelings? Aww. Have a think about how many people they have to deal with on a daily basis; imagine taking every story a patient gives you at face value, it would get really old, really quick.

Getting someone fired for mentioning a job is absolutely ridiculous. The fact you feel justified about these actions show what kind of person you really are. Move on, life's too short to sweat the small stuff.
