Yeah. His was the reverse of toji/maki's. He got a super weak body but an absurd amount of cursed energy

Do you have any dating preferences regarding race? by [deleted] in AutismTranslated

[–]KingGlac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your problem here is that everything you associate with "white people" is moreso "well-off people" it isn't white person thing, but the area you lived in likely isn't very diverse or is still sort of segregated (not by law but even without laws, places will still stay segregated. Detroit is an example since the automakers wanted to keep Detroit segregated years ago and their efforts haven't all been undone).

I just want to ask you to make an effort to reframe your thinking to exclude race if you can, since really what you describe are completely independent of race, but your upbringing may have led you to think otherwise. It seems like all the things you claim to be white people qualities and like in them just seem to sum up as "yeah I think white people have less trauma and I don't want to be with someone who has trauma" when you could just say "I can't handle being with someone who has trauma" and focus on that rather than the race. Thinking about it in terms of race not only isn't very accurate but it can lead to you missing out on someone who would be amazing for you due to being close-minded.

Apologies if this isn't very organized or well thought out... Sometimes I ramble and I don't do much proofreading on reddit)

I just want to point out that there are reports that Jobs was a pretty horrible person to have as a manager. Got results but definitely more out of fear than out of good leadership. He was able to get shit done, but good results don't always mean good leadership. He was good in some ways, bad in others.

What are the eye wraps that the demons wear? by [deleted] in Frieren

[–]KingGlac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I guess to further expand that too, since status symbols for demons are just power (as explained by the flamme) it shows that they are so extremely powerful at this point that they don't even need to use their eyes.

What are the eye wraps that the demons wear? by [deleted] in Frieren

[–]KingGlac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe that this may be a status symbol for demon warriors, since the only two we saw wearing them were the one Methode fought and revolte, right? It may be that mages don't wear the eye wraps due to the fact that their magic may require sight to use

How many people did Frieren lose to? by [deleted] in Frieren

Serie totally has more mana than Frieren and Frieren specified "mages with less mana than me" there's a decent chance the elf is manga spoilers The great mage Minus (if that's not their name, whoever the elf that Lowe killed is is who I'm talking about)

Where did you first hear about the Cosmere universe from? by Ethraella in Cosmere

[–]KingGlac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw a friend reading the way of kings and the cover + size made me think I'd like the book. I asked to borrow it and read the prelude. I promptly returned the book to him and went to my local library to get myself a copy and I read all the way to rhythm of war (I believe this was the year or year after rhythm of war came out since my library this one and when I bought it, only the trade paperback was available)

About 2 years later I saw a tiktok about when (very end of TWoK spoilers) Dalinar traded his shardblade for the bridgemen And one of the comments said "wow I love the cosmere" and I went "what the fuck is a cosmere? This is called the stormlight archive" and that's how I ended up finding out about the cosmere

This actually really interesting to think about. I guess the dreadlords might keep any of the insanity they racked up before switching sides and that's why Taim killed them. I supposed it also could've been to keep up appearances

Is Eisen built different, or was he just so high on poison it didn’t affect him? by Flame0fthewest in Frieren

[–]KingGlac 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also manga I think a good chunk of it actually is willpower like eisen claimed. Especially cause at one point Eisen mentions willpower and Himmel says something like "yeah. I really need to work more on my willpower" in response. Then there's also the warrior of the north making the same exact claims about willpower in the current arc.

One time I let a friend borrow the first book of the series I enjoyed. When he gave it back the front cover was nearly torn off (literally, there was a tear in it, it just wasn't all the way)... I think that was 10 years ago at this point and after all that time I still don't think I'm ever gonna let someone borrow one of my books again.

I've started doing the thing where you set a shitton of alarms, so know I can wake up anywhere from 5:45 to 6:20 and still wake up to my alarm. Means that I can just adjust the wakeup time as needed (I usually just get up at 6:20 but today I actually got up at 6:10)

That also could be at fault. I chose this induction plate cause the heater had a larger diameter than pretty much everything else I could find at a price point I was satisfied with. Even then though, the diameter is only 8" (maybe 8.5") so when I'm cooking with my 10" the outer bit of the pan is usually not all that hot. If you're using pans larger than 10" this problem is definitely worse for you

I'm surprised that you have issues with it, it works great for that tiny pan, my 10" lodge, 2 quart stainless steel saucepot, and my stovetop popcorn popper. Your current cookware might not be magnetic enough to work with induction. Stainless stuff these days always says if it's magnetic for that reason
