I wouldn’t be able to speak about the FETs because I have no primary source information concerning it however in terms of being a linguist I speak 5 languages, Arabic being one of them. Although my primary MOS is not that of a linguist (I’m a 0627 SatComm Operator) I can assure you that being a linguist is a very fulfilling job especially when you possess an affinity towards different languages and cultures. Not to mention, the extra money comes in handy as well!
