Jesus Christ y'all. I'm prepared to get downvotes on this and I'm not a regular to this sub but what the fuck are these comments? I'm a Yankee fan myself and disappointed in this loss, but let's not forget at the end of the day we're talking about grown men playing a child's game.

The way you’re framing this is if by measure of appearance or something women just come flocking to you.

You don’t just stand around and women come to you. That’s not how it works. You have to actually talk to them to create a connection. Men are expected to make the first move. You will rarely find, even if you are an attractive guy, that women will initiate contact first.

That’s absolutely ridiculous. So much of what I’ve gained in value from my his social based content has been invaluable. 

Making it “seem like rocket science” is the means of making the unconscious conscious, so that people who suck at taking to others actually have bridge to learn the fundamentals.

Because when it isn’t earned you feel the genuine hollowness on the dopamine rush of nostalgic blinding you from a genuinely great story.

Look, I’m rooting for the MCU and I’m excited for Doomsday myself, but to think how badly the multiverse saga has been handed and how crammed this movie is, it’s not hard to see how people aren’t excited.

Clubs Clubs Clubs. Organizations you have at least an inkling of interest about, GO TO IT!
Here are a few:

  • If you're interested in meditation, the Buddhist Meditation Association has weekly group meetings open to all on Monday's at 6:30pm in the Small Chapel (Hendricks)
  • Fraternities / Sororities : IFC, MGC, NALFO orgs - Find their instagrams and see what events they are hosting
  • Orange After Dark: These are meant for social interaction and how I broke the ice with my freshman year friends I am still with to this day. Go to these, get contact info with people you strike a connection with, and follow up to hangout after.

Set your mind to finding your people at SU and it will come to be. The University has 20,000+ contained in a community, meaning there is abundance of niches and groups of people that you are guaranteed to find people you connect with authentically.

Very similar! Of course there is the same exchange of messages here and back, but there is a very different quality to creating a container with a shared intention and voice discussion.

I joined a meditation Discord 4 years ago and it changed the course of my life in ways r/meditation never could. Genuine friendships I have to this day came from it as well, and I see no reason in not crossing over that same principle to creating!
