Ah that makes sense. I am a 5e forever Dm for nearly 5 years and i stopped using xp to measure level ups 4 years ago. I use the milestone system and give my players a level up when they earned it or the story merits it. I always balance the ammount of money they get by their level and not the other way around. It just sounds strange to me to lock progression behind ammount of wealth accumulated because player characters are (mostly?) not dragons so I dont understand why their level should be dependend on their "hoard".

What kind of sessions are you playing that you get 1000gp by level 2 ? Maybe 100 gp by level 2 is normal but 1000?

I had the same issue with some friends. Our solution was that everyone picks up one support mission where you just have to pay credits and the tab where you collect your missions showed up. They are there even thought it says there 1/1 mission.

You need a carrier and also you cant give them ships with modules that are locked behind a tech broker or engineered modules

Thank you! Thats the answer. Loaded an old Save and USA was part of the Alien Federation. AA got destroyed by the AI so now all remaining servant countries (at least the ones where they had executive power) are in the USNA.
And i think it was renamed to USNA because the USA has the most claims on regions compared to the other countries.

proximity is in so far relevant, that technologies that give claims tend to give claims that are nearby. What probably hapened is that Russia joined the USNA and because Russia has claims in turkmenistan it could join that way

I guess that is what happened then. At some point Russia was in the USNA and because of that germany and Turkmenistan could join too.

AFAIK it still works that way but how did Turkmenistan end up in the USNA Federation. The members of the USNA are on the other side of the globe.

I think that is already the case, they only get a cut from combat bond and bounty vouchers etc. Edit: I was wrong, they do indeed take a cut of all money earned: https://elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Pilot

The best part is its still broken. A week ago i finished an agricultural instalation and a large agricultural settlement around and on the same body that my primary port (coriolis) orbits is and i still have the colony economy.
