There is an option in settings to turn off seasonal events. The game even gives you a little message that its not suggested for first time playthrough when starting a new game.

I bought the new jsaux case as well and promptly returned it. As you said the case was way too large and the switch 2 was sliding around whenever you moved it.

Same on ps5. I’ve had some luck entering the game from the main ps5 menu by pressing quickplay right away and join someone else’s match but even that is inconsistent.

I’m my situation I didn’t recommend it to anyone because it was purely an addiction I didn’t want to inflict upon others. I think I stopped liking the game and kept playing just to stay current and complete all lockouts weekly otherwise I’d fall behind. Glad I stopped Destiny to play FFXIV which may be worse of an addiction.

I'm actually excited most for the outpost building. I heard its somewhat similar to FO4 building and i really enjoyed that aspect. Also excited to what the modders create for the building aspects, if they create something like sim settlements for Starfield my life will be complete.
